To have inner peace means to accept people for who they are, including ourselves. Being happy, calm and free of worry can come with being peaceful. It is getting yourself to a place where both the little and big things do not bother you ❤
When we look at the world as a whole, it can be overwhelming to know that we cannot control majority of it. Other people, the weather or circumstances go about as they are. The only person or thing that we can control is ourselves which may seem small at first but when you think deeply about it, that is all you need.
If you had the responsibility to take care of the actions and thoughts of others than just yourself, you would get exhausted. It can be tiring enough at times focusing on your own needs, looking out for your family and doing the best you can to help others. Our paths in life are each different. We reach different stages and lessons with time that is right for ourselves 🙂
The more responsibilities that we have, the more digging and time is needed to have inner peace. It is not that you have to search for peacefulness elsewhere. Practising love, kindness and mindfulness can awaken the inner peace within you. It already exists in each of us. Two simple ways that anyone can do to bring it out are to spread kindness and love in our world.
When you are kind, the love that you are giving towards other people is of the highest form of serenity. It is as if you are taking a piece of your loving self, that you know has good intentions for others to be happy with their lives and giving your love to them. This form of love is kind, generous and of peace. This love, plus much more will come back to you, as you give not expecting anything back ❤
Giving love to anyone is great. It does not matter who it is that you give it to, as any one of us needs love. Love is what acknowledges our existence. It motivates and helps us recognised that we matter in this lovely world. Even though there are billions of human beings, we each matter equally. We are one lovely family and need to be there for one another.
Spread kindness and love wherever you go. It can be as small as a smile or as big as offering your time to help a person in need. Your actions always make a difference. Everything that we do matters. Sometimes we do things that turn out to be mistakes and it is fine as we are learning. The key is to avoid repeating mistakes and to have good intentions in every matter 😀
