Fennec Fox Sleeping on Macarons Drawing – Coloured Pencil 🌸 artistbybeauty

Do you dream when you sleep? Are they mostly good or bad? You may believe that every person dreams each night, yet there are some who say that they have never had a dream before. That they simply close their eyes in bed, fall asleep and then before they know it, its time to get up in the morning 🙂

I had thought for the longest time that everyone would go into their dream world when sleeping. I believed this until, my friends and I were discussing dreams and one of them was like, “I never dream when I sleep”. We all turned to her as if we had seen a ghost. Haha in that moment it honestly felt like a nightmare and that I was simply dreaming about it…

But I was not… our friend further explained that she would not have a clue what it was like to dream and she did not care much for it, as you only know what you know (which is true!). I did feel sad for her though as I love to dream. Dreaming is a place where you are free, can fly, have magical powers and create anything from your imagination. It is a place where you can escape at times from our so called reality ❤

I am unsure as to why she could not have dreams. I do not think it has anything to do with creativity as this girl was a wonderful painter. I just cannot put my finger on it. Unless she does dream but never remembers. That could be a possibility. Dreaming when you sleep should be every persons go-to. The place where you visualise your future, get excited about it and take away ideas to implement into your day-to-day life. Then piece by piece, it can become your reality 😀

Yes, dreams are great! Then again like anything, there is a dark side to dreaming, as there is good and bad in all places. Unlike good dreams, nightmares are not pleasant for anyone (unless you like being scared). We each have things that scare us. Even the most confident and brave individuals are terrified of something, it is completely normal.

When you think about it on the surface, it may be beneficial to not have dreams as you are not fully in control. So if you never have dreams or were to always forget them, we would never have to worry about having nightmares. Great right? Maybe not… as even bad dreams can be of beneficial use. If we dream of losing a loved one, we will wake up and realise our true feelings about that person. Hopefully, feeling relieved and appreciate them more.

If I had the choice, I would always choose to dream, than not at all. I appreciate all types of dreams that I have, as I learn something new each time. Good dreams are great at revealing things that we never thought we would try before, such as dancing, playing an instrument or travelling to a new place – far from where we live. Dreams can be motivating, inspiring and uplifting.

Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you an adorable colour pencil drawing of a fennec fox. This cutie is sleeping on macarons, making them either tiny or the macarons giant. Fennec foxes are the worlds smallest fox and can be found in the Sahara Desert. They are nocturnal animals, sleeping during the day and being active at night. I wonder what sort of dreams they have when sleeping? ❤

I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! It can be a great idea to keep a notebook to write down dreams that you feel are of use to you. The good and the bad ones. Keep dreaming and taking little steps each day towards your goals. Have a wonderful day!
