Beauty is everywhere. It is in the rustling trees, calming water and blooming flowers. Nature is wonderful as it cares for us, giving so much and never expecting anything in return. I love our lovely planet that we share together ❤
I like to see the beauty in all that I come into contact with. Whether it be buildings, plants, animals, people or sea creatures. Nature and the many creations we have developed over time each have beauty to them. As there is good in everything – some more than others 🙂
The way that people see life comes down to perspective, like the saying: “One persons trash is another persons treasure”. This is true. Another saying is: “The glass is half full”, yet another person may see it as half empty. It is helpful to see the beauty and positive side in all that we experience. Yes, it is easy to see the positive in a good experience. Whereas it is harder to see positivity, when it comes to a not so good experience.
With unpleasant experiences we need to take a step back to evaluate and see – what we could have done differently? If it was not in our control, we can look at – what have I learn’t from this? You can think like this, it is better to try and see the positive side of things than drowning in regret or feeling frustrated. Remember that you are in control of your thoughts 😀
Our minds are powerful and believe anything that we feed it. If we believe we are confident, we will be confident. Likewise if we believe we have no confidence, we will have no confidence. Luckily no one can force you to choose their way of thinking as it is you, who chooses to accept or not. Great right!
I am a huge fan of affirmations. They have helped me a lot over many years of my life. I am incredibly grateful to have first discovered this practice back roughly 8 years ago when I read You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. It is a simple thing that you can do before you sleep and as soon as you wake up.
You can either remember your affirmation in your head or note it on a piece of paper (whatever option suits you best). Let’s say your affirmation is “I am happy”, you can say this out loud three times before you go to bed and then again, three times when you get up in the morning. The point of doing this is that you will start to believe you are happy and will attract happiness into your daily life ❤
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a colour pencil drawing of two adorable insects. A bumble bee and ladybug dancing together on beautiful green grass. I love how happy they are.
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Feed your lovely mind good thoughts. Give affirmations a go for a week and see how it changes your life. You are in control. Have a joyful day!
