Wonderful self-help books – CURRENT reads

Hi 🙂 🙂

Today I managed to have some time to myself to re-read these books that I am reblogging. These are two of my favourite self-help books ❤ ❤

I love books that are empowering and help me grow in a positive way. Books that show examples from people who have had experiences on doing things that changed them for the better, and want to share that knowledge with others.

I have another job interview tomorrow, and will hear from the interview I had yesterday by Friday. I am always up for feeling positive about things, but for this I do not want to get my hopes up too much.

It is best to go to each interview and do my best and know that the right job will be offered to me. I am really looking forward to working in Sydney CBD as it will be easier to attend events and visit galleries after work (and I will finally get the chance to do some fun vlogging).

I will reply to comments on my blog this weekend. I hope everything is going well for you, and that you keep doing what you love.

Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day!

Life is a personal journey. Each one of us has a different path, and is a unique person.

Self-help books are a wonderful way to guide you on your journey, and can help with personal growth.

I always find it is great to add to my knowledge, the teachings of other people who are wiser and have experienced life for longer. There is no limit to learning new things, and it is always fascinating to discover new passions that you have not thought of trying before.

Post 1 Dec 2016 Pic 1.pngI purchased the following books from eBay. I usually purchase books online as I can search for the best price that includes free shipping. I am currently reading these books, and will review them once I have completed them.

Post 1 Dec 2016 Pic 2.pngYou’re born an original (don’t die a copy) – by John Mason – I have been wanting to get this book for quite some time. I…

5 Ways to Discover Your Passion – WELLBEING

Hi friends 🙂 🙂

I have had such a super long day today. I had a panel interview for a job with three people and had to complete six different types of test while I was there (verbal, numeric and so on tests).

I feel really tired haha 😀 😀 I think it went well, but you can never be too sure, so I will just have to wait for when they call later this week.

I have another interview Thursday with a different company. Both jobs are in the city in Sydney so it will be nice to be around the city abit more during the day.

Plus there are alot of things to do in the city and it doesn’t take me long to travel on the train.

Todat I am reblogging a post on 5 ways to discover your passion ❤ ❤ It is so important to find out what it is that you love in life, and make time for it.

Ok I actually think I need to take a cat nap haha. Thank you so much for reading. Have a wonderful day!

We all want to find out what our purpose in life is!

In saying that, we want it to be something that we truly love, and desire. Something that keeps us motivated, and gets us out of bed every morning.

What we are most passionate about can lead us to success, as we can get an enjoyment out of it, and if we enjoy what we are doing, we will never need a reason to stop working at it.

Here are five ways to help you discover your passion

1. Watch videos

There are plenty of people out there living their life purpose, with some even sharing videos online. You can always go onto YouTube, and search for videos about the things you love. For example if you love painting, there are plenty of painting time-lapse videos, and how to paint videos that you can watch.

If you are not…

Inspiration from the Art of Miyazaki – ART

Hi 😀 😀

I hope your day is going well! I just sorted out some interview clothes for a job interview that I have tomorrow.

I have been so busy today with the usual work, study, and drawing. I also have another job interview to go to on Thursday. So super busy this week.

I am really glad that the weather is cooler this week, so at least I won’t get hot when walking to the train station tomorrow.

Today I am reblogging my post on great Miyazaki anime movies and an artwork book.

Ok I will get back to study now. Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day!

What makes art magical?

For me, art is magical when it tells a story. It can be heartwarming, fantasy-like, breathtaking, sad, or even show emotions of frustration.

When art tells a story, it draws you in, intriguing you to search for an understanding of what is happening.

Post 21 Nov 2016 Pic 1.pngHayao Miyazaki is an amazing Japanese film director, animator, screenwriter, producer, author, and manga artist. I have seen all of his anime movies, and each one of them is a masterpiece that takes you on an incredible journey. There is so much love, and emotion that goes into each story.

post-21-nov-2016-pic-4Grave of the Fireflies – This is one of my favourite anime movies of all time. It takes you on a journey about two siblings who are orphaned, and go through many struggles as a result of the aftermath of a World War II bombing. This movie is extremely sad, so do prepare…

NATIO Skincare – HAUL

Yay that it is almost the weekend! 🙂 🙂

I love to make on time on a Sunday to relax, read a good book, and put on a face mask.

Today I am reblogging my Natio Skincare haul as these are all some of my favourite skincare products, which I use daily (such as the moisturisers, face toner, face cleanser, and hand creams. I only use a face mask once a week).

It is the second day into fall now and it is another cool day, with plenty of dark clouds and rain.

Today I have been busy with my artwork, study, and replying to job applications. As I have mentioned before my artwork is part-time for me (I am working on making it full-time, but it does take time so I still have to have a full-time day job to fund my dreams and pay the bills). ❤ ❤

I want to get a new full-time job, with a good salary, and in a wonderful inspiring location in the city.

I will be visiting family in New Zealand this month so that is something I am really looking forward to. I will take some nice photos of my home city while I am there, so that I can show you what it looks like.

Ok now I shall get back to study. Thank you so much for reading. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Taking care of your skin is extremely important.

The earlier you start looking after your skin, the better your skin will be in the long run. Even if you feel that you skin is too oily, you still need to moisturise.

I love Natio skincare products, and have been using them for many years. Natio is an Australian company, and is proudly made in Australia.

I recently made an online order. I chose a lovely range of products to change up my skincare routine.

post-18-nov-2016-pic-1My skincare routine consists of cleansing and moisturising twice daily (morning and night, just before I go to sleep). I love putting on a face mask at least every two weeks (I am going to make it a habit of doing a face mask every week).

post-18-nov-2016-pic-2Natio – Renew Radiance Foam Cleanser – This cleanser helps with evening skin tone, and effectively removes all makeup. It also removes…

Funko POP – Belle – DISNEY

I hope your day is going great 🙂 🙂

The weather has changed back to hot today in Sydney, 35 degrees (°C). Just been working again (as we all do haha), and studying (as you probably guessed).

Seems this week my blog has become a mini daily journal. It’s kind of nice just to write my thoughts on the spot. I have the air con on at them moment. Yay for keeping me cool.

I wanted to reblog this post on my Belle Funko POP. Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney movie, I really cannot wait to watch the live action movie with Emma Watson in it, when it is released here in Australia, 23 March 2017.

The trailer looks so beautiful. I am really excited about it. Belle is a smart, independant, loves books, and such a confident person. I love her for that.

Yay I managed to catch up on most of my blog comments today, will get to the rest tomorrow, and will catch up on reading blogs I follow this weekend.

Ok, well with the rest of my day I am going to study, draw, add more to my stories, and finish off the day with a good book.

Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day!

Funko Pop make a great range of character figurines. You can find the figurine characters from anime, cartoons, movies, and so on.

I love having my Funko Pop figurines with my manga or on my desk when I draw, and create art. The detailing of them is beautiful and they are just so cute >^.^<

post-30-december-2016-pic-1The box it comes in is lovely. It is decorated with cute pictures of Belle from Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ movie. The box is partly plastic around the front and one side of the box, which allows you to view inside from the front, and also view a profile angle of Belle from the side.

post-30-december-2016-pic-2Front – The detailing is wonderful. I love the drapes and layering detail of the dress. Her arm length gloves are really cute. The position that she has been put in to pose is adorable. The contrast of the colours is well-balanced.

HAUL – New paints and brushes – ART SUPPLIES

Yay another lovely day in Sydney 🙂 🙂 Not too hot at 31 degrees (°C).

Just been busy with work, study, many assignments, readings, and activities. It is mid-afternoon now, I hung out some more washing, and there are quite alot of wasp outside (I think someone has a wasp hive in their backyard).

They are all over the flowers near my clothesline. I do not mind them, I just do not want to get stung so I keep a good distance from them.

Today is a re-blog post on paints that I got in December 2016 (wow seems like ages ago, time really flies). I will be re-blogging post for most of this week, and most likely next week as I need to focus on my studies.

I will share my artwork as soon as I can. I love using acrylic paints. I love creating mysterious paintings. My blog should be back to normal within one to two weeks.

Thank you so much for reading 😀 😀 Have a wonderful day!

Oil paints are my favourite type of paint to work with. Though every now and then I love to paint with acrylics.

I was out of acrylic paints, so I decided to purchase some online from Officeworks. I just wanted some paints that I could play around with, and do some messy quick drying paintings.

post-19-dec-2016-pic-1

For the month of December I have been completing a drawing challenge, by drawing Anime and Disney characters each day. The last drawing is going to be on Christmas day. You can view the first six drawings here or visit my instagram to see all up-to-date drawings.

Once I complete the drawing challenge I will start a painting challenge with the following art supplies in the New Year >^.^< (I am just deciding on a theme).

post-19-dec-2016-pic-2J. Burrows – Acrylic paint – It is essential to have both a black, and a white paint. Having…
