Getting active each day is good for everyone. Just the idea of exercising can be tiring for some but it is needed that we do daily exercises. The wonderful thing is that you can choose your level of fitness ❤
Due to social media and how connected we are online, it is easy to come across people sharing their fitness journey. It can be inspiring when we see someone who relates to us. If they can do it, we feel that we can too. It is good to be happy with the results of another persons hard work 🙂
What we need to avoid is comparing what our body looks like to other people. Comparison takes away your joy and can make you feel terrible. If you exercise for a month and are not receiving the results that you want. It is not helpful to be focusing on those who you seek to have a similar body to. Plus what is presented online is not always real.
When sharing photos online many tend to use filters and apps that enhance features to their liking. It is cute and fun to see people doing this but when it is constant with all of their photos, I cannot help but feel concerned for what it is doing to their own perspective of themselves. If someone feels that the app version of themselves looks great, it will be different to what they see in the mirror ❤
I am sure there are some who understand that their app version self is just that – an app version. As long as one does not feel bad about what their real self looks like and they do not seek to look like the app version, then it is fine. Self-love is to be happy with yourself, inside and out. Do your best to use little amount of filters on your photos and avoid changing the shape of your existing features.
Choose to work on the real you. Embrace yoga and exercise daily for at least 30 minutes. Your level of fitness will improve at your own pace. Every goal takes time to achieve and once you reach your goal, you will find there are other things that you can improve on. Love who you are and all that you do. Be proud of every effort that you put in to better yourself 😀
Understand that you hold the power to change your life for the better. Whatever it is that you can imagine for yourself can become your reality. Keep your mind positive and be kind to yourself. Do not compare yourself to others as you cannot be them and they cannot be you. You are on your own journey and they are on theirs. We are all unique and have the ability to achieve our dreams.
