Our emotions tell us how we feel in the moment. It is an expression of our thoughts and what we believe a particular situation reflects. Emotions can help us notice when another person is sad, angry or happy. This can be a good thing yet also bad ❤
Whatever emotion we feel in the moment can either benefit a situation or make it worse. If we are happy and express that with a smile or laughter, joy is present. Being joyful is a positive emotion that can bring out the best in others. When you are having fun with loved ones, your happiness can influence them to be happy too. It feels wonderful to be joyful with the people who you love the most 🙂
The opposite goes for when you are angry. Anger can be a dangerous emotion. Not only in the sense that it can lead to physical negativity, it can cause damage to your own health and wellbeing. Making you feel horrible, unwell and have regrets after an outburst. Anger is an emotion that needs to be kept under control because you do not want to hurt yourself or anyone else.
Sadness can lead to multiple states of the mind, such as annoyance, depression, anxiety, despair, self-pity and much more. It is an emotion that we have when our heart is hurting about a sad situation. We may cry for ourselves or for others. It is good to cry as you need to let out your tears but you need to ensure that doing so does not lead to despair. Cry it out with someone you trust or on your own and then move forward ❤
We cannot let our emotions take over ourselves. It is great to express them and then keep moving forward with our journey in life. Do not let yourself get to a point where you fall into despair. It is already difficult enough to dig a hole by being sad, and you do not want to fall into it. It hurts to be sad or angry. No one wants to continuously feel that way. This is why self-love is needed. When you love yourself you can comfort yourself as you know that things will get better.
Any circumstances pass with time. Both good and bad situations. Choose to embrace the good while it is in your presence and let go of the bad. The only thing that you can control is yourself. So if a situation is out of your control just let it go. You will overcome it. If the problem is something that you can control, have the courage to fix it. You are stronger than you think. Do not be ashamed of any mistakes or bad decisions you have made as it is done and you cannot change the past.
Choose to not repeat such situations. If you are currently repeating a bad situation, decide right now that you will no longer do it again as you are hurting yourself and others involved. You can control your emotions as every emotion starts with a thought. Understand your emotions and shift any negative thoughts to positive ones. Love yourself by being kind to yourself and others who you interact with 😀
