Peace can be found within silent moments. Such as when we have time to ourselves and during sleep. It is good to allocate time to be peaceful in a place where you can be in silence. Daily meditation brings peace, joy and allows your mind to be at ease ❤

There are many quiet places that we can go to. Our bedroom, a public garden or yoga studio are some. You may not be able to have complete silence but it is good to go somewhere quiet and be alone with your thoughts. We each live busy lives amongst a lot of noise. On our way to work there is traffic, people and changes with the weather. The amount of noise can vary depending on where you live 🙂
Most of the time we do not realise how much everything that happens within our day impacts the state of our mind. We can forget to take a moment to breathe, stretch or go for a walk. Although, we know that our health and wellbeing is important, it can be set at a standstill as other priorities are at the top of our list of things to do. Work, study, finances, relationships and other areas of our life seem to be more of a focus.

It is not that we want to neglect ourselves. We mean to work on our overall health. However, main responsibilities take most of our time and when the thought of our wellbeing occurs, it is close to the end of the day when we can be exhausted. To be able to make time for yourself, it can be helpful to plan each week in a schedule. You do not have to plan far ahead. Just one week in advance is needed 😀
Having a schedule in place allows you to have an overview of your week and allocate anything that needs to be done within a time frame. You get to decide what goes on it and can adjust as you need with each day. Noting down time to be silent for at least 10 minutes a day is great as you ensure that you can complete this. The following week you can increase the time to 15 minutes and more with each week as you feel comfortable.
