Deciding on what you want in life is not that hard. You know deep within your heart what it is that you want to achieve. The tricky part is planning, sticking to a schedule and learning how to block out any negativity towards you pursuing your dreams. Sometimes it is the people who are close to us that try to change our mind about our goals.
Especially, if you are aiming to achieve something big. A goal that is big is something that you have not achieved before and can involve great risks. Your family and friends may have never achieved a goal that big, so they could be scared to see you hurt if you fail. They would rather have you quit going for your dreams than see you be upset if you were to lose a lot in the process 🙂
When people try to stop you from achieving your dreams. It is not always because they are jealous or do not want good things to happen for you. It can be based on their own limiting beliefs which come from their experiences or from people who they have heard about. They may have tried to achieve a similar goal and decided to quit as they could not overcome the challenges.
Your loved ones can be looking out for you and want what they believe is best to see you happy. Be sure to thank them for their concern and advise that this is something that you need to do. You do not have to explain yourself at all but it is nice to show that you appreciate their thoughts. Your life is yours. You are the one person who’s opinions matter the most as this is your journey 😀
