It is good to spend time with nature on your own. Going outside for a walk to appreciate the trees, sky and birds can be relaxing. It is nice to look up at the sky and watch the clouds pass by when sitting on the grass. Do you feel more connected to the planet when you sit on the grass outside? ❤
As human beings we each need connection. Both with other people and with the earth itself. Mother nature can help us feel calm and find clarity during our frustrating moments. Whenever I feel stressed or unsure of what to do with a problem I like to go for a walk. Walking outside in the fresh air can help you think clearly and put everything into perspective 🙂
There is no point sitting at home or work worrying all day about a problem. Instead do your best to push it to the back of your mind, then as soon as you have some spare time, go for a walk and think of solutions. It is great that walking does not cost you a thing. As long as there are footpaths, a park nearby or if you can drive to a hiking spot, there is no excuse not to go for a walk.
If you are not really into walking or going outside. Start off by using a skipping rope at home. Skipping is great for the heart and makes for excellent exercise. I find skipping fun. I need to do this more as it always gets me hyped up and happy. You can start with any type of exercise at home. Sit ups, lunges, squats, press ups, yoga or stretching are all good for your body 😀
Stretching is something that we all need to do, especially as the years go on. I love stretching as soon as I get up in the morning and at night before I go to sleep. Yoga is great for people of all fitness levels. There is a lot of stretching and holding poses in yoga that I enjoy. I feel stronger from every yoga session that I do. Give yoga a try if you have not yet.
Truly be thankful for yourself. Love who you are and all that you do. Be thankful for your mind, body and life. You have many wonderful things about yourself. Even if you cannot see them now, you will notice them with time as you learn to love yourself. It is good to be given the gift of life and have the choice to live your life as you please ❤
Appreciate nature wherever you go. In your neighbourhood, near your work and in the centre of your hometown, love all nature. Stand in front of a tree, admire each of their leaves, branches and detailing of the bark. We can learn to be still and peaceful from looking at how a tree lives. A tree is still, yet reaches for the sun and rain. Trees choose to grow patiently with time and get stronger every day.
