Dreaming of what we want to achieve in life is easy. It is nice to drift off away into our dreams and visualise a better future. Whether it is thinking about your dream career, travelling to a place that you have not been to before or purchasing your first home. Dreams are needed to motivate us to have goals ❤
Dreaming is one thing though. Creating a plan and taking action is another. It is taking the steps required to pursue ones dreams, that some people can struggle with. There is no one to guide you or tell you how to go about your dreams, as your goals are unique to you. Every persons journey in life is different, so we each need to figure out what we need to do on our own.
Your journey will feel lonely at times, since no one can understand exactly what is going on in your head. The best person to know what you are thinking and doing, is yourself. Yes, we can draw inspiration and learn things from other peoples experiences but it is up to us to review the information that we take in. Taking action is the first step with finding the right direction 🙂
Mistakes are made along the way. Not all mistakes can be prevented, as we are limited to the knowledge that we currently have. The wonderful thing is that we can take lessons from our mistakes. Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow. When we make a mistake we can either choose to learn and correct where possible what we have done or we can ignore what has happened.
It is best to choose to face your problems as soon as possible because you do not want things to snowball and become a bigger mess. Understand what your values are and stand by them. Do not let anyone bring you down or tell you what is best for yourself. Remember you are the one person who knows yourself the best 😀
Even if you have failed many times at the same goal, it is fine to try again. Just ensure that you try things differently each time. Failure is nothing to be ashamed of. To fail means to have tried and it is better to have tried than to do nothing at all. You need to be your biggest fan by cheering yourself on through both the good and the bad times 🙂
Let go of your fears and start right now. Choose to take action by starting off with writing down your goals and creating a schedule. Work on your goals for as little as 10 minutes a day and extend that time as each day goes by. You can push yourself a bit more with each week. It is good to get out of our comfort zone, as when we are not comfortable we are pushed to discover things about ourselves that we did not know before.
