What keeps you going in life? There are many things that can keep us motivated. Our career, family and dreams can be some. Goals that we set for ourselves are important as they help us learn and grow. Our dreams are what we need to work towards ❤
Often people give up too soon on their dreams. They will at first be super excited about an idea, write down some notes and then start working on their goals. It could be one day, week or month that they choose to put effort into their passion and then suddenly stop as they are not getting the results they expected. With the presence of social media, some can feel entitled to instant fame and money.
Having a dream due to money or wanting popularity is not the way to go about a goal. Money comes and goes, as does popularity. Your passion is something that you want to be doing forever. It is a love of your life. A true dream is a passion that you would do even if you did not earn a cent from doing it. It is not a good look to be pretending to like something. Plus, other people can spot when someone is not truly passionate about what they are doing and is just jumping on a bandwagon.
Yes, it is nice to make a living from doing what you love but money should not be the reason to want to achieve your dreams. Passion needs to be the reason. To keep moving forward with your goals, you need to keep yourself motivated every day. It is good to have a weekly planner, that way you will stay on track with each of your milestones. You can also have a wall planner that shows an overview of the current year 🙂
Placing the wall planner somewhere that you can see every day, will allow you to keep track of important due dates and be motivating for you to cross off each day as it is completed. It is nice to be able to see many days crossed off with time, reviewing how far you have come is rewarding. Having an indication of progress will ensure that you never give up ❤
At the end of the day it is your choice, whether you choose to go for your dreams or not. Choosing to give up means that you are likely to regret it when you come to the end of your life. Would you not rather have tried, knowing that you gave your best effort than trying for a week or so and giving up so soon. There are many people out on our lovely planet living their dreams. You can too!
You hold the power to create your dream life. Believe in yourself and have trust that you will achieve your dreams. We are lucky to have access to a lot of helpful information on the internet. Continuous education and learning are needed for life. Learning something new each day can help you discover new passions and keep you motivated 😀
