Stress is a normal part of life. It gets us moving when we know tasks are due soon, going to an event or are feeling unwell. Stress comes and goes, as does happiness. There are things that we do which we can understand why we stress over. Then there are the other things that are out of our control, yet we still stress over them ❤

It can be frustrating when things do not go according to plan. Your car having a flat tyre, weather that decides to rain when it was suppose to be sunny or having unexpected guest turn up to visit since they are in town. Each of these situations are out of your control. A flat tyre is something that happens due to driving. The weather can change suddenly as nature is something that we cannot control.

When friends or family happen to be on a trip that they may have not expected to take, they can think it would be nice to see you since they are in your local area. Although you are busy, it would be rude to turn them away. So yes, this can cause unnecessary stress but they were kind enough to want to see you, so you just have to make it work 🙂

Yes, all of these situations are not in your control and are causing you to stress. You need to take a deep breath and realise there is no point in stressing over these things. See the brighter picture. From a positive perspective it is wonderful that you own a car, allowing you to drive wherever you need to go. It is great that you have a home that shelters you from harsh weather conditions ❤

It is beautiful to know that you have friends and family who care about you, even though you live far away from each other in different cities. They love you enough to want to come and visit. In the moments of stressing we can tend to forget what really matters. Sometimes it can be best to let go and just go with the flow if the situation is not in your control 😀
