The best wealth you can ever seek for is having good health. Taking care of our mind, body and soul is important. Happiness can help keep each one of us healthy. The mind is where all great things begin. If we can believe it, we can achieve it ❤
Good health is something that many people seek. We can often take it for granted when we are children. It is as time passes by that we seem to notice that we need to be taking better care of ourselves. Seeing how our parents health changed as we were growing up, should have been an indicator of what we could do better. Unfortunately, some would think that they have all the time in the world to get healthier.
Yes, time is a wonderful thing that we sometimes believe we have plenty of. However, it is not until things start looking bad for ourselves that we then take certain matters seriously. I myself am lucky since I saw my mother exercise often when I was a child. I would copy her fitness routine for fun. During school I played a lot of sports (netball, swimming and hocky), even though I also played a lot of video games I was active outside. My sister and I would play outside for most afternoons with our friends 🙂
Since I had an active lifestyle through school, I have been able to keep that up as best I can. I do not play sports anymore but I still exercise. I enjoy walking, running, swimming and yoga the most. Walking everywhere is something that I have done forever. I prefer to walk to places than drive. It feels wonderful walking outside, hearing the surrounding sounds of people and nature, plus I love seeing the trees as I walk by.
My heart is happiest when I am out in nature. Although I am a introvert (a super introvert if that is a thing haha), I need my daily dose of nature even if it means just going out into the backyard of my home. I enjoy exercising but I also love writing, drawing and gaming so I understand how other things can get in the way 😀
Yes, we all have things that we would rather do than exercise but it is really important to implement some form of exercise into your daily routine. I recently purchased a smart bracelet to track my steps. My current step count goal is 10,000 steps a day since I am a newbie at this sort of thing. I am loving it so far as it holds me accountable to complete this goal every day 🙂
If you need that extra push to exercise, I highly recommend getting a smart bracelet or any fitness tracker that can count your steps. Walking is something that most of us can do where we live. Walk in your home, to your local park or around your neighbourhood and have a daily step count goal. Do your best to eat healthy and use baby steps each day to get healthier. A long happy healthy life is what we all need to be aiming for ❤
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a mountain cactus desert acrylic painting. Mountains are beautiful and stand tall proudly. I love seeing mountains in person, being in the snow is something that I enjoy since winter is my favourite season. Cactus have a unique beauty. I would love to one day visit many deserts in different parts of the world ❤
