We can put a lot of pressure on ourselves to be to time. Going to an event, a loved ones birthday or with completing tasks. When being somewhere or having something done on time, it can be tricky to consider ourselves. Being late can cause unnecessary criticism ❤

Completing tasks on time is something that we can take pride in, as it shows we are achieving things. When you achieve a goal, it can make you feel happy and well accomplished. What is odd, is that we seem to get annoyed if we do not complete a task on time. It does not feel as good knowing it was not finished by the due time. Especially, if other people are depending on that task to be completed by you.

I know with myself this is something that I struggle with. Yes, I have goals and complete majority of them on time but there are some that I finish later than the due date. Life happens and we are only human, yet it is still quite difficult to shake off the expectations that we set for ourselves, as well as the ones from people who are close to us.

Not completing every task on time shows that no one is perfect. There is no such thing as a perfect person. What is important is finishing tasks, so we need to stop focusing on the time it is supposed to be completed by. My schedule is something that I take as a guide. If a task is due by 6 pm, I may have it completed by 7 pm and I am fine with this 🙂

I feel that we need to stop being so hard on ourselves regarding expected time frames. Working towards completing your goals is what matters the most. Do your best to not worry about getting tasks completed on time. Use your due dates and scheduled times as a guide. Of course, you do not want to get into the habit of being late to complete all tasks because if you do, it may cause you to feel overwhelmed.

Thank you so much for reading! Live your life as best you can. Do not not let your goals and dreams get in the way of your personal life. Find balance with all that you do. Spend quality time with your loved ones, go out for dinner, exercise daily and keep yourself healthy. Make sure that you are happy with what you are doing.
