Sometimes we feel that we do not have enough time. This can cause us to rush from place to place, to complete errands and tasks. Before we know it, the day has gone by so quickly that it is already time for bed. Then the next day repeats ❤
Constantly being in a rush each day can make you feel like you are a dog chasing your tail. Running in circles, feeling like you will never catch it, while tiring yourself out. The funny thing is that all a dog needs to do is stop and then they can easily see that they can reach their tail. It is in the moments where we stop, that helps us see things clearly. When it comes to constantly completing tasks, it is important to take scheduled breaks and relax your mind during break time.
Our minds think way more than they need to, having unnecessary thoughts of worry regarding what to do next can cause us to further worry. If you keep thinking about all of the things that you need to do during your break, you will not be as productive as you can be due to lacking energy. Which is why it is important to have some good snacks and relax during a break. This will allow you to reset your mind and be ready to tackle more tasks 🙂
If you struggle with using your break as a time to relax and not work, it is a good idea to have a schedule for each day listing all of the tasks that need to be done and allocated break times. Having set times for tasks gives you an overview of the times where you can work on tasks. So when if comes to taking your break, your mind can be at ease knowing that even though you are taking a break you still have enough time set to get all tasks completed.
It may take you some time to get use to having a proper schedule, so do not be hard on yourself if you cannot stick to it straight away. Just like anything, it takes time to learn something new. Especially, when you are use to doing your work in a different way. If you get bored with having a routine, change up your schedule every week so it feels as though every day is different 😀
