Self-love is needed by all of us. To become the best version of ourselves, we first need to understand what it is that we want out of life. It can be tricky to figure out. For some people, they have known from since they were a child what the wanted to become. Then there are those who have just figured it out after years of trying new things ❤
Then there are the remaining, who are lost and confused as to what it is that they should be doing with their life. Seeing their friends happy with their careers and goals, makes them feel a strong need to find out what it is that they should strive for. By seeing others who are succeeding around you can be helpful. You do not have to be envious or believe that they do not deserve what they have achieved.
Instead it is best to use this curiosity and channel it into inspiration. Know that since they have achieved their goals and are living a wonderful life, that you can too. There are people who tend to sit back and watch the world pass them by. Complaining about others who are succeeding, while wondering why they are yet to achieve anything.
This type of behaviour is negative and does no good for anyone, especially themselves. All of the time that they used complaining and watching others succeed, could have been put to better use to figure out what their own dreams are. Think about the times where you have binged on a TV show, knowing that you could have put the time to better use. Of course, you deserve to have time to do these things. We just have to accept the fact that when we choose to spend time on things like watching a show, that we do not overindulge.
You can have the best of both worlds by writing out a schedule each week, then block out times for when you can relax and do whatever you like. Doing this will allow you know that you have the time to get all of your tasks complete by the due date and also have the room to do the things that are not so important. Learn to love yourself and spend time on doing the things you love the most 🙂
Having a schedule will increase your productivity and motivation to keep working towards your dreams. We need to have goals, as having goals means to take action and when we achieve our goals it makes us happy. Have you ever noticed that when you do nothing it feels wonderful for a bit, then as time ticks on, you start to feel bad as you are not doing anything.
The feeling of guilt emerges in times like this which is why it is helpful to have a schedule. When you have allocated times for tasks, you do not feel guilty. You feel empowered knowing that you are getting what needs to be done on time. As you become use to your schedule you will get faster with tasks and have extra time to do more of what you want 😀
