There is a sense of confusion in the world at the moment when it comes to peace. A lot has changed on our lovely planet, as the spread of illness rapidly grew early in the year and continues to grow. Although it is not nice to say, we seem to have become accustomed to it.
Especially, since some stores have re-opened and various lockdowns have been lifted. Of course, it may depend on what part of the world you live in, as to what stage your country is at with guiding you during this difficult time. Thinking back to when it all started, there was this fear in each of us. A fear of the unknown and many questions as to why this happened in the first place ❤
This fear, although frightening, awakened strength and further kindness within our hearts. Opening our eyes to what really matters in our lives. Having individuals go through great lengths of stress, sadness and at times despair due to the sudden changes. Many people were let go from their jobs. Anger arose, however, so did the loving hearts of most. A love grew, knowing that we are all going through this.
Even though many felt alone from the beginning, we started to realise that this is a battle which we need to stand and fight against as one. It felt like since the world had something serious to fight against together that there was world peace emerging. Our hearts and kind words went out to those who loss a loved one or fell ill. As did our helping hands, to gift those in need with essential goods.
These kind, pure heart moments are beautiful to see during times of chaos. Sadly, even though we have all been through so much together. Further chaos is emerging right now, with people being divided, fighting for their rights and being rejected by others. If you are keeping up with current events, you will know what I am talking about. We have the right to speak up, however, no good comes from violence.
They say that two wrongs do not make a right. This statement is true. If bad things are inflicted upon you, it will do no good to do the same to others; even when it comes to those who hurt you. Yes, it may be naive to believe that world peace is possible but I will never stop believing it. Even if it means having AI’s come into place to help guide everyone to live a better life haha ❤
Yes, AI’s are also a scary thought but we do need to keep an open mind. If we cannot find world peace as human beings, maybe another life form needs to show us how. For now let’s do our best by showing others around us that we truly care, spreading kindness and love. You can contribute to world peace by having a positive mindset and never giving up hope, as things will get better.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a live with peace art coloured pencil drawing. Peace is needed for each of us to feel safe, happy and successful. It is now day 68 of my #drawingdailychallenge. I am currently working out a new post schedule for my blog and new content (see update post here). My schedule has changed to be later than usual as I am still experimenting to work out the best time to post and balance all my social platforms 😀
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Have faith that world peace will happen. At the very least do your best to create peace with those you interact with and be happy. Make the world a better place with your kind heart. Have a peaceful day!
