Experiences are what make our life exciting. It is nice to have things but material belongings are not what you can take with you when you pass on. Places that you have been to, the time spent with loved ones and the joys of doing what you love is what will live on in your mind and heart ❤
Knowing all of this is why it is important to be thankful each day for what you have and not focus on what you do not have. You have the ability to show love and what you care about. Always put that love into being grateful and live a life full of passion. Your heart is powerful, as is your mind. Your conscious is what makes you aware of your own existence and all that surrounds you 🙂
When you go outside, take extra time to not only look at a tree as you pass by but to stop, appreciate the small patterns on a leaf, see if you notice who lives in the tree. A bird, insects, maybe your eyes will widen to see much more. Sight is a precious gift to those who can see. At times we can take it for granted. Seeing our loved ones faces, animals and the wonderful creations on our lovely planet is a blessing.
Right now, take a moment to write down or at less think of five things that you are grateful for. Is it your health? Maybe your family? Being able to have time to get lost in your hobbies each weekend, could be it? What are you thankful for? Yes, there are times where we feel down, as if all is going into chaos around us. Especially, in difficult times when we are not well or having financial difficulties.
In those moments it can be hard for us to pick up ourselves, let alone allow someone else to fight through the barrier of despair surrounding us. We need to always be mindful that most of the time (as hard as it is to admit), the problems which we suffer stem from something that we have caused. If we are late to work, we know that we could have got there early and taken an earlier train or bus, as it is known that public transport can be late every now and then.
If we have problems with money, we can most likely think back to all of the things that we spent money on that we did not actually need at the time and due to such habits it is causing current problems. Do you get what I am saying here? For the most part, we have a choice in all that we do. When making a decision, we can choose to think about the possible outcomes that may cause further problems down the line. We have control over what we do!
Being able to make such choices means that we can make positive decisions that can shape our future. Now, it does not matter if you have made many poor choices so far, you can change. It is better to change now, even if you have to cut down on your current way of living, in order to have a better, fulfilling future. Plus, making positive choices now will lead to more good opportunities along the way 😀
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a simple coloured pencil drawing of a butterfly on a mushroom. Sometimes it is nice to draw simple drawings as they are very relaxing. Butterflies are one of my favourites to draw as they are so graceful. It is now day 63 of my #drawingdailychallenge. I am currently working out a new post schedule for my blog and new content (see update post here) 😀
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Keep your mind strong and your heart happy. Be grateful for every day you wake up, as it is an opportunity to live the life that you desire. Life your best life. Have a happy day!
