A life well lived is due to the efforts of ones self. Having gone through the toughest times in life, yet still managed to overcome every obstacle knowing that there was going to be something better on the other side. This is the type of outlook that we each need to have to live the best life we can.
It is a mentality that develops over time with each experience a person has. A state of mind that is not easy to accomplish but is needed to reach your goals and happiness. You may notice that when you achieve a goal, there is a proud feeling within you of happiness. This feeling is from knowing you have achieved something that you have been aiming for a certain period of time 🙂
Understanding that you have put a lot of effort and time into achieving such a goal. That all of the days, avoiding distractions and mix of emotions have been worth it. The bigger the goal, the more that we seem to make it a priority, taking time away from other things that we more than likely rather be doing. A goal is exciting to note down on paper but when you are deep into it, it can be something that can test your patience and emotions.
When you first write down your goal, it can be amazing, exciting and a proud moment as you have figured out what you want to achieve in life. However, when you start taking action with your goal, it is usually fun at the start and then as the days add up, there are days where you feel like you cannot go on. Times will push you in a way that is frustrating and will have you questioning why it is that you started this journey in the first place.
Just like any relationship, it will play on the strings of your heart and do your head in at times. It is not all sunshine and rainbows. You will need to develop a routine, where you have allocated time that you spend on your goals, so that you can also take time out away from it to relax. Yes, our goals are to get us to a better place in life, they are something that we love but cannot be doing 24/7. Breaks are much needed to keep us sane 😀
This is especially important to think about if you work from home or are working on your own project. Make sure that you schedule breaks, otherwise you will eventually suffer from burnout. The scary thing is that if you burnout, it may get to you so badly that you decide to stop pursuing your goals and dreams. It is a serious matter and is best prevented in the first place. Taking care of your health and wellbeing should always be the number one priority ❤
Ensure that you are eating healthy, exercising daily and getting enough sleep. Each of these areas can be hard for many of us to do but just like any goal, you need to choose to take action and put in the effort. Nothing that is worth doing is ever easy. Life is full of challenges that we will each continue to face over the years. We can either choose to face or run away from them.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of happy mushrooms and a bird. I love drawing mushrooms and birds. Mushrooms are fascinating to look at. It is now day 61 of my #drawingdailychallenge. I am creating mini comics of them (see mochi elephant post here). I am also currently working out a new post schedule for my blog and new content (see update post here) 😀
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! I will forever say it, keep going for your dreams no matter what. Take each day as an opportunity for you to create greatness and get closer to achieving your goals. Live your life as best you can. Have a lovely day!
