In the busy world of today many people are constantly in a rush to get somewhere. It does not mean just physically but also mentally, as there is a need to check all notifications, jump from social media platform to another platform and ensure to tick off the to do list ❤
This rush of attending the next best thing has caused many to lose their patience, not have the ability to find peace in silence and make themselves feel overwhelmed with day-to-day pressures. Especially, since obligations are more than just our work, relationships or house chores. It is each of those and much more.
Having technology available 24/7 at hand, can make it tricky to just switch your phone off. Yes, peace and quiet is needed, yet your mind can be use to being so busy that silence may make you feel uncomfortable. Feeling this way towards silence can cause you to want to be in an active environment, where something new is always happening.
Being in a rush often can be unhealthy for both the mind and body. It pushes you beyond your limits, making your mind unable to concentrate or be aware of what you are doing in the moment. When we rush, we process so much information that comes into contact with us, it can be difficult to truly understand. Being impatient can cause your mind to see anything that takes time as slow.
It is actually better to take your time and have patience’s with each person that you come into contact with. When you listen to what others have to say, they will appreciate it and you will potentially learn something new. It is good to learn to let go of rushing through life. Stopping to appreciate the small things in life, is what is most important 🙂
There is no need to rush from place to place when it comes to sharing our own knowledge and way of life. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and breathe. It is good to be able to have time to relax. Relaxing leads us to a path of motivation and clarity. Balance is key when it comes to doing anything 🙂
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of a merry mochi elephant. Elephants are elegant and stunning. It is now day 60 of my #drawingdailychallenge. Mochi is a lovely dessert that comes in the cutest range of colours. I am creating mini comics of them (see mochi tiger post here). I am also currently working out a new post schedule for my blog and new content (see update post here) 😀
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Patience and persistence are needed to achieve great things is life. Put your best foot forward and do the best you can in life. Keep moving forward and reach for your goals. Have a joyful day!
