Joyful Mochi Mouse – Drawing Daily Challenge – Day #55 Coloured Pencil 🌸 artistbybeauty

Thoughts are interesting to look into. The different ways in which we each think, our own values, beliefs and set ways. There is usually something that we have to do in a particular way based on how our mind works. Well, really how we believe it to work ❤

If a person has believed for many years that in order to be better at their job they must work by strictly sticking to a to do list, it can be hard to try other ways to improve. Especially, if it is something that has worked for them for a long time. This makes them feel like there is no possible better way. No matter what anyone else says, they will choose to be set in their ways.

You may be thinking that if things work well for you, why try anything new? The thing is, if we never try anything new, we limit our opportunities to grow. When we are not growing, it means that we are not learning, making us complacent in all that we do. Complacency is a dangerous place for the mind to stay. It is a state where your mind is comfortable and happy to not change anything.

Being complacent in any area of your life is not good. Whether it is in a relationship, job or way that you perform tasks at home, you need to avoid not putting in extra effort so that you can contribute helpful effort into these areas of your life. When we show that we are trying to improve at something, it shows that we care, as our own time is being contributed to makes things better ❤

Having an open mind will allow you to explore new ways to improve your way of life. With your relationships, you can be open to creating new experiences with your partner, family and friends. Arranging a trip together, doing outdoor activities or trying a restaurant that you have not been to before. Experiences that we have not been through previously, widen our eyes to see that there is much more to explore in life 🙂

Our minds can then be open to travel the world. If you try sushi for the first time and love it, it may lead you to wanting to learn about Japanese culture, then planning a holiday to visit Japan. Each experience can lead to a new one. Had you tried sushi and chose that this is where it ends. That you will only eat sushi but not learn anything to do with the background of where this delicious food comes from, makes you miss out on possible amazing experiences.

Can you see how closing your mind can lead to limited opportunities? The more you keep your mind closed, the more you cut yourself off from new discoveries. Imagine if you never tried chocolate, fruits or cake. It is the great pleasures in life that come with being open-minded. Of course, be wary and do not put yourself in a situation that may hurt you or those you care about. Keep your mind open to learning and experiencing new things 😀

Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of a joyful mochi mouse. Mice are so little and cute. We are up to day 55 of my #drawingdailychallenge. Mochi is a lovely dessert that comes in the cutest range of colours. I am enjoying drawing these mochi animals so much, that I am currently working on mini comics of them (see mochi bird post here) 😀

I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Do you best to avoid complacency and keep your mind open to new things. You never know what opportunities may open to you. Keep being the beautiful positive you. Sending you happy vibes and lots of love. Have a great day!
