It is funny how one word can make a difference. When you think of the word happy, it can make you think of smiles, laughter and joy. The opposite happens when you think of the word angry, which can make you cringe, feel a bit anxious and may make you frown. Words are powerful and can change the tone of your day ❤
When you think about the current words that you say to yourself in your mind. What are the words that show up the most? Are they compliments or self-criticism? Do the words tend to be positive or negative. Whenever we are feeling an emotion we can review the current thoughts that are going through our mind. It is important to do so, especially when we are not feeling our best.
Taking note of what words and phrases are going through our mind, can help us to review and research as to what is the cause of all of these unbalanced emotions. If we find ourselves saying that we cannot complete a task because we are not good at it and therefore should give up. We can look over our notes regarding our feelings and think deeper as to why we would say such harsh things.
No one deserves to be treated in a manner where they are told that they are not worthy of doing something or do not have the ability to be able to achieve what they want in life. These types of comments should not be said about you by anyone, as they are not you, only you can decide what is best for yourself. Most of all, such criticism should not ever come from yourself as it does you no good.
By saying harsh remarks to yourself, you are basically throwing away your dreams and causing your mind to spiral into a dark place, that is unnecessary for you to visit. Please always remember that you have the power to create your dream life, so pick yourself up every time you fall down. It does not matter how many times you fall down. What happens is the number of times you get up 😀
