Do you have moments where you are doing so much that you forget to breathe? Sometimes we are not even rushing anywhere and are simply caught up in a task, dazed to a point where we are unaware of anything else other than what we are doing. It is scary when you notice that you are not breathing as much as you should be ❤

Breathing is something that we can often take for granted. Yet it is extremely important. If we cannot breathe, we cannot live. Oxygen is needed, our lungs are incredibly important to keep us in good health. You need to ensure that you are taking wonderful care of yourself, as you put your mind and body through stress each day. Taking a deep breath can make all of the difference with your level of energy 🙂

There are times where we do not realise our body is under stress until we stand still. Moments of stillness are needed to regroup our thoughts and understand how we are feeling. When we can have these moments of peace, it allows us to find the areas of ourselves that we need to work on. Parts that need attention and help with healing.

If you discover your feet are sore, organise to get a foot massage or do it yourself. If you notice that you are not breathing as much as you feel you should, take some deep breaths and then drink plenty of water. Water is refreshing and has healing qualities. There is a magical power to water, that makes you feel energised and awakened with each sip that you drink. I ensure that I drink plenty of water everyday 😀

Whenever you are feeling stressed or need to relax, stop whatever it is that you are doing and take a step back. We are allowed to have moments of silence. It does not matter how busy you are, you need to breathe. So, inhale deeply and exhale slowly. Repeat at least 10 times. It can be helpful to set up a reminder on your phone or write in your schedule to do this each day.

Thank you so much for reading! It takes little time out of your day to do breathing exercises. Please get into the habit of doing them at least once a day. Preferably twice a day, once you are use to implementing it into your daily routine. Set yourself a challenge to practice breathing exercises for a week each day and see the amazing difference that it brings to your life.
