Doing what you love each day is wonderful. It feels good putting your heart where it belongs, being able to share your creations with the world. Depending on your end goal, at times you can feel overwhelmed and wonder if it is worth continuing to share online or if you should continue away from the online world ❤
Anything that is put out into the public eye is judged and it is something that you need to accept when you are sharing your work with the world. You can feel happy receiving positive feedback but at times, there are people who may say not so nice things. The odd thing is, as your online presence grows, the more people feel as though they are entitled to comment in harsh ways that they would never do if face-to-face.
I am sure you know what I mean. I know that they are silly things that we just need to ignore but we do have feelings, so there are times when things will get to us. The moments of vulnerability where we pour our heart and soul into our work with good intentions, then someone tries to tear it apart with their unpleasant words.
What I am saying is that we are not robots, so eventually there are little moments when things like this get to us, especially if we are already having an off day. We need to have empathy for one another and be kind. If you are going to give feedback that is constructive, do so. If it is mean, do not. What good does it do to have such negativity within yourself and spread that into someone else’s life? It is hard to understand this type of mindset. I believe that we reflect how we feel about ourselves onto others.
So when someone says something negative about someone else, it is because they feel that way about themselves. Think I am wrong? Dig deeper within your mind. If a person comments on someones weight, it shows that they have a fear of being smaller or bigger. If a person says someone is ugly, it shows that there are parts of themselves that are ugly. A beautiful person does not call someone ugly. True beauty has a kind heart, lovely soul and spreads love as they want the best for others 🙂
Many people who put themselves out in the public eye online are those who are simply working on their dreams. Then there are those who go a bit further and want to help people. They work hard each day, while doing their best to spread love and positivity. These people are not obligated to do so, they choose to because it is important to care for others, without other people in our lives, we cannot share our passions or successes ❤
If you are putting love into your work and sharing it online, please continue to bring joy to peoples lives. Both love and generosity feel amazing. It feels good to give and when you are giving, people share further love with those around them. This is a beautiful effect that continues to give. Constructive criticism is fine to review but any comments that are written to hurt you, simply delete them. There is no point replying back, as those who have a hurt heart can only change themselves. You can only hope that your content will eventually touch their heart in a positive way.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of a smiling mochi fox. They have the cutest smile. If you have not yet, have mochi some time as it is delicious. It is now day 47 of my #drawingdailychallenge. Mochi is a wonderful dessert that comes in the cutest range of colours. I am enjoying drawing these mochi animals a lot and will draw more of them (see mochi squirrel post here) 😀
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Never stop doing what you love, especially if other people try to put you down. You are living your life for you and you are great at your passions. The world needs more people with a caring heart. Keep creating and sharing positivity. Spread kindness and love. Have a nice day!
