Staying home has not been easy for any of us. Even if you enjoy being away from other people, during self isolation there has been moments where we have thought that it would be nice to be able to go outside and see people out in public. It feels like the world has changed so much in such a short amount of time ❤
Even though it has not been long since the coronavirus started, it feels like it has been a long time of being frustrated at different levels, having mixed emotions and worrying about the uncertainty of the future. It is unfortunate that a lot of people have lost their jobs due to the virus.
There are limited jobs available at the moment, so in between being hopeful to find a new job, we have been having to keep our minds at ease by doing the things we love. Losing ourselves within our passions has been a wonderful escape. It is nice to be able to do something we are passionate about and even for the littlest moment feel like things are normal 🙂
Well, as normal as possible to some extent. It is not that we are in denial with what is happening in the world. It is just a lovely way to keep ourselves sane and feel at least a bit happy. Even before self isolation it was important to have goals and make time for our passions after work. Doing what you love can help you relax and keep your life balanced.
I hope you have been managing to keep yourself healthy and spend time on your goals. Writing and drawing a lot has been helping me stay motivated to keep going for my dreams. It is good to be determined to become better at your passions with each day. If you have not spent much time doing what you love, that is fine as well ❤
This unfortunate time was unexpected and each one of us has felt all kinds of emotions towards the virus. Seeing the devastation it has caused around the world has made us feel a lot of pain. A good thing that we have come to realise with staying home is appreciating all that we have. Our loved ones – partner, family and friends; also our health, food and the home we live in.
It is great seeing the positives were possible, we need to keep staying strong and showing support to one another. Focusing on bettering our health and wellbeing can help a lot. To do your best to be happy, keep spending time on your passions each day. Doing what you love on a daily basis can help you feel more balanced with your life 🙂
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of a blissful mochi mouse. I had always found mice to be adorable and beautiful little critters. I love their tiny paws and nose. If you have not yet, eat mochi some time as it is delicious. It is now day 44 of my #drawingdailychallenge. Mochi is a yummy dessert that comes in the cutest range of colours. I am enjoying drawing these mochi animals and will draw more of them (see mochi bird post here) ❤
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Times are still difficult and it is fine to feel down every now and then. Do your best to be happy and spend time enjoying the things that you love. We will get through this together. Focus on your health and wellbeing. Have a joyful day!
