In the most difficult of times, some people can find it hard to believe that things will get better. Feeling helpless and insecure about the unknown future. Not being able to see what will happen next can cause them pain and hurt those around them, as their loved ones cannot stand to see them that way ❤
It is sad when you see someone lose hope and basically give up on life. We are each different and handle tough situations in our own ways. There can be a person who loses their job and chooses to keep applying for work, having hope that they will eventually find a job regardless of how many jobs are available. Another person could react differently by having a breakdown and believe they will not find a job soon as they feel doomed by the lack of positions to apply for.
Hope is that part of your mind and heart that believes the best is yet to come. That you will come out on the other side stronger and better. It is hope that makes you want to seek a better life, do what you love and find someone who will love you dearly as much as you would towards them. To be hopeful is to have the belief that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that you are just passing through a tough moment in your life which will not last forever 🙂
We each need at the very least the slightest touch of hope to know that this pain will go away eventually and we will figure out a way to get through this. If you are in a difficult situation, there are many things that you can do to overcome the challenges. Where possible, talking to someone that you can trust can be helpful. Having someone there to listen to you, may help with getting things off your chest and you may even find some clarity to be able to think of ways to better your circumstances ❤
If you do not have anyone to talk to, you can search for a non-for-profit organisation online to see if they have phone call or web chat options and they will listen to you, which can help you to be acknowledged. If you do not feel comfortable discussing your matters with another person, you could try to write down whatever it is that you are feeling each day in a journal.
Letting your feelings out on paper can help you release anger, sadness and any other emotions that may be causing you to lose hope. Writing out how you feel is a great way to vent and since you are not telling anyone about your deepest thoughts, there is no need to be embarrassed or have any regrets later on. Once you have written in your journal for a week or so, you can read over your entries and reflect. Reflecting will hopefully have you coming up with solutions 😀
Please do not ever give up on yourself. You are lovable and deserve the best life. You can achieve whatever it is that you want in life, from completing studies to mastering an instrument to buying your first home. So do your best to keep your hope strong. You have come this far in life and still have your greatest years to come. Keep going for and working hard towards your dreams ❤
