The way in which you choose to think can determine your path in life. Each of our thoughts, even the small bad ones add up, steering us to unknown places. There is no path to a goal that is a straight line. The path curves and has paths off it, that can take you on detours, then lead you back to be on track. Sadly sometimes due to our thoughts we may get distracted, take a detour and not ever come back to the main path ❤
You most likely know what you would like to achieve in life and are thinking of ways on how to get there? The first step is to write down your goals. Having a list in front of you can be helpful, as you can go through the list to determine which goal is the number one priority. Then see if any of your other goals contribute to the main goal and if not, ask yourself if they are they worth pursuing as they will take time away from your main goal.
Once you have worked this out, you need to work on developing a positive mindset. Your mind needs to be strong and be able to look for solutions instead of dwelling over the problems. To make your mind stronger, you can read daily affirmations, spend time doing the things you love and eliminate negative thoughts as soon as they cross your mind 🙂
A wonderful way that can help you get there is to journal your thoughts each day. Pour it all out onto paper and then let them stay there. Getting things off your chest and into a journal helps benefit your mind by taking away unnecessary thoughts, taking that weight off of your chest. Having the weight lifted daily by writing it out, is beneficial as it clears your mind and allows you to focus on the important things in life ❤
Once your mind is clear, you will be able to see the difference in the way that you think. I know that with myself I cannot function properly if there is something bothering me in my mind. At times if it is making me feel angry, I will write it out on a piece of paper and once I am done, I will rip it up and throw it away as if those feelings of anger were never there in the first place 😀
It helps a lot to accept the current situation, write out the emotions while feeling them and then find a solution. Of course, this is not that easy to do as it sounds. It takes a lot of work to get a hold of your emotions, especially when you are at the height of being angry or sad. When we let our emotions get out of hand, it can be difficult for others to get through to us and help.
Most of the time, you are the best person to help yourself, as you know yourself best. So do just that. Give yourself compliments, dress nicely, exercise, eat well, take care of your appearance and emotional wellbeing. Get a journal and start off by writing one paragraph each day. Do your best to see the positives in life. Embrace the detours in a positive way and keep your mind focus on the main goal, so that you always remember what it is that you want to achieve 🙂

It is now day 39 of my #drawingdailychallenge. I actually drew this when I was hungry lol. Mochi is a delicious and sweet dessert. It comes in the cutest range of colours.
