Life is wonderful. It is a blessing to have been given life on our lovely planet. The opportunity to live life on our own terms. Of course, not everyone is given the same opportunities. It can depend on where you live, what choices you have made and your mindset. Still, it is good to do your best with opportunities that come your way. As well as create your own 🙂
You will be surprised with what can come your way when you take a chance on something. Taking a chance can be having the courage to start a YouTube channel. It takes courage as it is not easy to get in front of a camera and especially, put yourself out into the world to be judged. Doing this gives opportunity for you to share your knowledge and gifts with the world, and be able to earn recognition for your work while helping people ❤
I love that we can take something that we are good at and help others who are wanting to learn about our skills. What is great is that we all have skills to offer. Some are better at the same skills as you but that is only because they have more experience and may put extra time into mastering their craft. You cannot let this discourage you, as you performing the same skill will be different 🙂
It is wonderful how even if a certain part of your skill is trending, you can put your own spin on it. If a person has watched unicorn drawing videos a hundred times and you want to create a unicorn drawing video. Just do it as yours will still be different since it is you drawing it. Yes, there will be more competition with particular topics but that should not stop you from creating content that you enjoy.
Plus drawing unicorns with copic markers could be what is trending, yet you may want to share a video of painting a unicorn using coffee and ink. Having this different take with the chosen media can make the video stand out. There is no guarantee that anyone will see your work when you are starting out. Even having an established channel does not guarantee the number of people who will watch it, so you may as well put out content that you love and have fun doing it ❤
Whatever it is that you want to do in life, you need to set time aside each day to work towards achieving it. It is important to be willing to continuously learn about your skills. Even if you have mastered them, there is always something new to learn that can benefit you. It may be that you are amazing at baking chocolate cakes. You could further your skills and learn new ways of icing a cake, such as gaining skills in realistic cake icing painting (basically a portrait that is manually painted with cream onto a cake and looks real). This technique is amazing!
Please continue to learn new things. There are many new skills that I have set as goals to work towards. The cake icing thing is something I want to learn as I love baking desserts and painting, so it is only natural to want to put those two skills together. Let’s embrace life and love all that we do. Encouraging each other to work on our goals and show loving support 😀
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of a lovely placid mouse holding a purple flower. I find mice to be adorable and playful. I love watching them with their tiny paws. It is now day 38 of my #drawingdailychallenge. Drawing daily has been great, it is pushing me further with my skills, which I appreciate ❤
