Working on your passions every day is beneficial to mastering skills. When you work on what you love on a daily basis, you get a little better at it each time. Whether it is cooking, drawing, writing or running, if you practice for as little as 10 minutes a day, you get closer to obtaining your goals and learn to further your skills. Knowledge is a key component to personal growth ❤
We learn from doing. It is as simple as that. If you do not put in the time to take action, you will be in the same position as you currently are, in a years time. The effort that you contribute into your passion does not have to be a lot of time. Instead you need to think about setting aside a small amount of time each day, to work on your goals. Small amounts of time are doable, so you will easily be able to achieve this 🙂
You may be thinking, “but what is the point of putting in little time each day, can I not just set a whole day aside each week?”. The difference is that if you have one dedicated day to work on your goals, you will have to be fully focused for that day and if you are really enjoying yourself on that set day, you will more than likely have to wait six days before you can work at it again.
That six days in between, is plenty of time to get distracted and forget the feeling of working on your dreams. The benefits of taking baby steps each day is that you pick up where you left off from the previous day and since you are working on it daily, it becomes a natural habit. Before you know it, it will be just like brushing your teeth. You will eventually do it automatically without realising. I know this all too well as I blog everyday. Not just once a day but twice. I love to write, always have. However, it was difficult when I first began my blog.
I dived right into blogging every day from day one and it was tricky keeping up with it as I was not use to writing on a blog constantly back then. This caused me to have periods of time off here and there. Fast forward to today and it is now natural for me to write daily. It is crazy looking back on how far I have come. When I started, I got about 12 views (maybe less) each day and now my daily average is currently 3.5k views. It has been going up more this week. I will talk more about this exciting news in tomorrows post, as I need to go into further detail. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful 😀
To achieve our goals and dreams, there are two main things that we require. The first one is ‘discipline’, the ability to do what needs to be done, whether you want to or not and ‘consistency’, which is the ability to constantly complete tasks by set dates. So if you are going to say that you will blog daily, you need to do just that. Write out a schedule and stick to it, no matter what ❤
Having a strong belief in yourself is important as no one else will believe in us if we do not first believe in ourselves. Every person on our lovely planet has the right to achieve what they want in life. You can achieve your dreams. It does not matter how long you have been trying, what your age is or where you come from. Believe in yourself, keep moving forward and let no one stop you from achieving your dreams.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a blue and white lovely blue trees monochrome acrylic painting. I love painting with blue tones as they are calming and build up well. It can still be tricky to paint with, as the tones blend easily together. It is a lot of fun to challenge myself with this type of painting, getting me to think in a different way. I will continue to challenge myself to create more one colour monochrome paintings ❤
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! I am challenging you to work on your goals for at least one week. For as little as 10 minutes a day (make sure you spend every dedicated minute on it), keep moving forward to achieve your goals. You can do it. Keep going, no matter what. Have a beautiful day!
