What sparks the fire within you? You know, that one thing that makes you want to work hard on your dreams. Your passions may be so irresistible that you just have to participate in them daily or maybe you need to have a boost of motivation every now and then, so you schedule time to make it happen ❤
Have you got your answer yet? For myself, I have to draw and write everyday. I just cannot help it. It is as natural for me as brushing my teeth. It can at times feel tiring in the moment, especially at night but at the end of the day I feel a lot better knowing that I am spending time on the things that I love. This keeps me motivated 🙂
I was not always great at sticking to a schedule for many years. What I would do in my days of just going with the flow, was that if I felt like drawing I would and I if did not feel like it, I would not do it. Previously being like that was great as I could focus majority of my time both creating and relaxing whenever I wanted to. The downside was that if I did not create for some time, it would snowball into days (sometimes weeks) of not being creative.
In an ideal world we would want to do whatever it is that we want, when we want. The thing is, although it is great to have such carefree attitude. It is important to push yourself to do the things needed in order to achieve your goals. We all need a combination of discipline, determination and consistency ❤
We need to understand that when we pursue our dreams, it is our responsibility, not anyone else’s. Being discipline leads us to a vital requirement which is to do what is needed to achieve your goals no matter. We cannot just sit around doing nothing or work on our goals whenever we feel like it. We have to make our dreams our number one priority and be serious about the effort we put into them 😀
It is easy to have dreams and a vision of where you want to be in life. What is hard for many is following through on our goals. We have to stay strong and keep going no matter what. Visualise the future and understand that everything is worth all of the hard work. Great things take time. You can do it!
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a red and white mountain monochrome acrylic painting. I wanted to have some fun again by painting with one colour, as it was awesome to do last time. I am going to paint many other single colour paintings. Red tones are very beautiful to blend together gracefully. Monochrome paintings are a joy to work with 🙂
