Laughter makes you feel good. It does not seem to matter what it is that you are laughing about. It may not be that funny but with the right company you can laugh over the silliest of things. Laughing each day can be great for your health and wellbeing as it can make you feel happy 😀
Laughter does lead to happiness. When we smile a chemical reaction occurs in our brain making us feel happy. So you can just imagine what laughter does, as our smiles are at their biggest and last for the time that we are laughing. Thinking about this is making me smile and laugh already. It is funny imagining it. Hopefully you are finding it funny too, thinking about the way you smile and laugh 😀
It is a wonderful ability to be able to laugh at yourself. Especially, when you do something silly or something goes wrong. Little things, like tripping over something (not hurting yourself badly of course) where you lose your balance just a bit, you may have forgotten to lift your foot and tripped. Another situation could be that you were in the middle of a conversation and pronounced a word wrong, and it sounded funny, making all involved laugh 🙂
Being able to laugh off silly things like that, is good as we are choosing to not fuss over those types of situations. If we choose to be angry, sad or frustrated instead, it may develop into a terrible experience that could snowball and lead to something worse. So do not sweat the small things in life, just laugh them off. I laugh a lot daily over many things as I have been this way for a long time ❤
I think it comes from being a part of a large family growing up. I am the eldest of six children (five sisters and one brother). We would laugh over everything thing pretty much and teased each other a lot. There has always been a playfulness in my family. Of course the jokes at times would go a bit too far but that is normal when you all live together, especially with a lot of people.
Living with someone else means that you go through the good and the worst of times together. Everyone needs to be able to support each other and pick the other person up. When the bad times happen, even if it is a serious situation, sometimes a joke can help as laughing can make us feel better. Normalising the situation for even the shortest amount of time can ease the mind, giving room to find clarity and then work on a plan to overcome the current circumstances 🙂
Yes, life has moments where you need to be serious but it does not mean that you have to breakdown and give up. Being under tremendous amounts of stress and feeling terrible happens to each of us during unexpected points of our lives. Some more than others. What is important is not so much how we initially first react to what is happening, it is how we choose to be for majority of the situation. So if we have a bit of a tantrum to begin with, we can move pass that if we choose to stop and look for a solution calmly. We need to always bring our best self back and choose to have a bit of a laugh too.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of some lovely tulips. I really loved the last flowers I drew (see post here), so I decided I am going to draw more types of flowers. We are up to day 26 of my #drawingdailytofightcoronavirus challenge. I will continue to keep drawing until we beat coronavirus. With each of these drawings I am wanting to spread love and a touch of positivity to everyone during this difficult time. Please continue to stay healthy and safe by practising social distancing. Feed your mind with good, happy thoughts to be strong and have a kind heart. Keep staying home so that we can help reduce the chance of spreading coronavirus (COVID-19) ❤
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Learn to laugh more often if you do not already. You can start by watching funny videos of animals doing silly things online. Animals are sweet and do the cutest, funniest things. Laugh at the silly things you do too. Have a joyful day!
