Does everything feel like a dream at the moment? It is strange. The more days that we are staying at home, the more it seems unreal. I mean that with respect, as it is all very much real. It is just interesting how the mind works when you have been kept distant from people for so long. Stuck in your own bubble within our world ❤
Yes, the bubble bursts every time I watch the news. It is when I am reminded of all the pain and suffering that is currently happening around us. The news is informative and keeps us up-to-date with all that is happening in the world. Although a lot of it is sad, there are some positives. Such as the lessening of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases within some countries and the beautiful acts of kindness shown by people 🙂
Stories showing acts of kindness warm my heart. I love seeing the love on our lovely planet. Now, going back to how I feel like I am dreaming, basically means that since we are quite isolated at the moment. It almost feels like everything that is happening in the world is between a dream and nightmare, that we are hoping to wake up from soon.
Unfortunately, this is all not a dream. We have lost a lot of people around the world. It is truly heartbreaking as they were taken too soon. Many are in a terrible place. Unsure of how they can pay their bills and have fears of being homeless. There are people trapped in violent home situations, unsure what to do as they have no where to go and must stay home.
The pandemic has revealed both the good and bad within each of us. Some being more to one side. There are those who choose to have hope, spread love and support others. Then there are people who are mad at everyone and everything. Yes, due to the circumstances it is partially understandable how some can act out so poorly but then again, there comes a point where you have no one left to blame and need to take a look in the mirror ❤
We all feel. Have emotions of being sad, angry, confused, annoyed, happy and excited… all human emotions, completely normal. How we handle each of our emotions is important. Emotions are complicated and how they are dealt with can differ from person to person. You could be angry, recognise why you are angry and learn to overcome it. This is a good way of handling anger.
Another situation is that a person could be happy and positive, going around believing everything is perfect in their world. Yet, ignore anyone who they deem as toxic since they see them unhappy. Instead of lending an ear or a hand, they choose to block out the world thinking that they are doing good, when it is quite the opposite. We need to feel our emotions, accept them and then deal with them. Finding balance is key and we can do this by helping each other 🙂
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a beautiful pastel hills acrylic painting. Pastel colours make me very happy. It is the style of painting that I relate to a lot and is known as fauvism art. I love painting with thick textures, brushstrokes and shapes. I really love how these hills turned out. It is like a magical world, being part of a meadow. I just want to run through it 😀
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Please keep spreading love and kindness. I will forever repeat this. There is nothing greater than love. To be loved, we must give. Stay beautiful, especially within your heart. Have a lovely day!
