For many days now, we have be confined to our homes. Not able to leave unless it is for an essential service. It has been difficult for many. Which shows with the amount of people who have been breaking the rules and going to public places as they please. How are you dealing with not being able to go outside? ❤
It is scary looking at the number of coronavirus chases rising worldwide with each day. It is currently sitting at 1,699,631 cases, 102,734 who have passed away, and 376,327 recovered (you can see the current stats here). Many medical staff and people who work at essential services companies are under a lot of pressure. Especially those working in hospitals and at grocery stores.
Customers have been getting restless and frustrated since they cannot get their basic needs at their local grocery store. It is unfortunate that many of us during this time of the year (as the weather is still nice and warm here in Sydney) would usually be celebrating Easter outside with family and friends. Easter is very different this year and we need to follow the rules that have been put into place to protect all of us ❤
Although we need to adapt to these orders. We can still enjoy Easter in the comfort of our own homes. Yes, it may be annoying as we would love to be at the beach or a park. Nature has a wonderful way of making us feel better but we need to stay home. Please listen and just stay home. Do not be sneaky and meet up with friends. Those who have children, please keep your children safe at home.
Going outside for a day is not worth the risk of getting incredibly ill. Get creative and make Easter fun at home. Bake some wonderful treats with those you live with. Make some Easter decorations (there are plenty of easy tutorials that you can search for and follow online). Organise an in home movie night for those living in your house 🙂
Let’s all keep our minds positive and strong. Be thankful for all that you have in your life. Your family, friends, pets and belongings. Give thanks for even the littlest things. Showing gratitude each day is important to be able to bring more good into our lives. Thinking about all that you have to be grateful for, opens your eyes to realising that you have a lot in your life that is great. Making you feel good 😀
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a peaceful pastel painting of trees on a hill. Bright colours and a pastel like texture is what makes me very happy when painting. I love painting in a fauvism style with thick textures as it is what I enjoy the most. I find it satisfying painting this way 🙂
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Please keep taking care of yourself and support those that are close to you. Stay safe by staying home this Easter. Be strong, you can do it. We are stronger than we think and can get through anything. Have a beautiful day!
