A smile is beautiful on anyone. It represents that we are happy, comfortable and approachable. Smiling is a way to captivate another beings heart and spread happiness. It is amazing how a person can smile at another person, who then smiles back. Showing how joy can be passed on. It is magical! ❤
What makes us happy? Is it doing what we love? Who we are around? or the environment in which we are surrounded by? I feel that each of these questions have valid answers that are of help, regarding what can influence our happiness. However, our minds are strong, we should never underestimate the power of a positive mindset. This type of mindset is what can keep us happy 🙂
Think about the answers to each of those questions. Participating in what a person loves the most can make them happy right? It makes sense, as they are enjoying themselves and as a bonus are achieving goals. This is a great recipe for happiness as with each goal completed, it fulfils ones self. Still, we are each unique, so doing what you love may not be best option for your happiness.
Perhaps it is spending good quality time with your partner, friends or family; it may even be a combination of all three. As human beings, we need social contact to feel appreciated, wanted and loved. Communication is something that we all like to be a part of. Although some may say they can live without it. The truth is we would go insane if we did not have a single person to talk to who was not ourselves. I believe many people are realising this at the moment, since the coronavirus has been interfering with our natural way of communicating face-to-face.
We have been having to practice social distancing. A lot of people are feeling upset due to the circumstances (which is completely expected and understandable). Much of being upset is to do with not being able to leave their homes for social activities. Even the littlest bit of contact by going to a cafe can help a person feel acknowledged. As can going to work, having work colleagues to talk to on a daily basis. For some, it is frustrating not being able to do these things at the moment ❤
That is why right now, it is important to adapt to the online world more than ever and communicate with others that way. Do so with your existing family and friends, plus you can also make new wonderful friends online who have similar interests to you. It makes me happy seeing that many people are now starting a social media page on different platforms, with some getting into blogging and creating videos. It is beautiful knowing that people are reaching out to each other and getting creative 😀
Our environment is a huge factor with impacting our happiness. You know how you can go to a place and feel uncomfortable, then once you leave you feel like a huge weight has come off your shoulders. It is the environment impacting you. If you are in a place that makes you feel bad, you will not feel happy. If it is your own home, it can be a great idea to tidy up and make your home comfortable. Our homes are where we need to feel safe and happy. I understand that some do not live with the best of people, just do your best to change your environment, even if it is the thoughts within your head. Keep your mind positive 🙂
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a bright and happy pastel painting of an Easter bunny sitting on a hill. Fauvism is the type of art style that I relate to the most. I love how it can be both beautiful and in a sense messy. I guess expressive is the word best to describe it. A way of painting the easily flows from my mind to the canvas ❤
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Keep doing what you love each day. Have wonderful conversations with those that you live with and others from afar, through the beautiful use of the internet. Keep your home nice and tidy, so that you are comfortable and can be productive during this difficult time. Have a joyful day!
