True happiness comes from taking action. Just like love, you cannot buy your way to being happy. It is different to obtaining a physical object. There is no, “I’ll finally be happy once I have… “. Happiness is not a place or a box to tick off on a to do list. It is a feeling from a sense of achievement and gratitude. Being proud of what you are doing and love the most 🙂
I know that I often preach how it is important to make time for the things that you love, and to do what you love in life. Yes, it can get repetitive. Yes, you have probably heard it from tons of other people. The thing is human beings are complicated. We are each repetitive with what we do and with our emotions. Some will keep making the same mistakes, despite knowing how to avoid particular mistakes. Others will learn their lesson; which some may then years later find themselves caving into making those same mistakes again.
All of us feel different types of emotions each day. We have all felt sad, happy and angry throughout our years of being on our lovely planet. Do you ever find yourself saying, “Why can’t I just be happy?”, or “I’m never happy because of…”. These both give our power away and are silly to mention to be honest. As we will never just be happy – day-in, day-out. You do not cling to one emotion and have it define you. Which is a good thing as we are not one-dimensional 😀
Throughout a single day we go through a list of emotions. These emotions include happiness, anger, worry, sadness and excitement. Of course there are some days where certain emotions will expand more than the rest. Since an emotion does not stay fixed in place, we have to do things to bring out the best emotions from within us. This is why it is important that we each have something that we thrive at doing. That one thing that makes us feel great every time ❤
Our passions help us escape the pressures of day-to-day life. Not in a sense of avoiding reality. It is in a way that motivates us to keep doing what we are doing and much more. Whenever I am creating art, more ideas spring to mind as I drift into a different world. A world that is creative, bright and has endless possibilities. This motivation inspires me to do better in other areas of my life, such as with my relationships, work, study and personal growth.
It is amazing the things that you can do when you are feeling your best. You can do anything that you truly want to do in life. You can start by writing a list of things that you love to do. Then you can schedule times within your week to have fun doing them. With each passion that you want to spend time doing, you can expand on, by writing a goal next to it. So for example, if my passion is baking, my goal may be to bake two new cakes a month (which sounds amazing because I love cake!).
Not only do we need to focus on our passions and the goals that go with them. We need to look at ways that we can be physically and mentally better. Eating healthy, having a good sleeping routine and exercising daily, are things that we can all do to become the best versions of ourselves. We need to have good daily habits that allow us to have more energy. As more energy equals being able to enjoy our passions to the fullest.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of a chibi girl, holding a console controller. She is a bit of a gamer and is gaming since she is stuck at home. I really am enjoying creating these drawings everyday and sharing them with you. I will continue my #drawingdailytofightcoronavirus challenge each day until we beat coronavirus. Keep being safe at home and healthy. It is vital that we stay home during this difficult time. Be your beautiful creative self!
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Do not be afraid to try something new. We each have our own journeys in life and need to embrace current passions, as well as the new ones that come along the way. Have a happy day!
