Some can view those who are optimistic as day dreamers and unrealistic. Being optimistic is to be confident about what the future will be. It is holding onto hope that things will take a turn for the better, no matter what. When a person is optimistic, they see that the future will be bright, even if things are currently getting worse ❤
Positivity is a wonderful trait to have. Particularly when dealing with difficult situations, such as financial problems, an accident, the passing of a loved one and basically unexpected terrible circumstances. Being positive means to see the good in everything and everyone. Closely similar to optimism, it is knowing that the sun always shines after a storm; as does a rainbow appear after heavy rain on a nice day 🙂
People often feel the need to fall into despair when something bad happens to them. They can act as though they need to have negative thoughts due to unfortunate circumstances. It can be understandable at times when you see someone mirroring a negative pattern, since they are feeling depressed or angry. It is sad to know that when someone is going through a difficult time, they can be extra hard on themselves by constantly putting awful thoughts into their own head.
Just think about it. When you are feeling down and unhappy about problems in your life, what do you do? Do you sit down, with a paper and pen, then take notes in order to find a solution. It is helpful, right? You could do this for some going through a difficult time, as it can be valuable for them to have an outside point of view. You can do your best to reassure them that they will be fine. Currently times are tough as we are each going through a lot due to coronavirus. COVID-19 is dangerous and sadly is taking peoples lives, which are being taken far too soon. Each person on our lovely planet deserves to live a long and fulfilling life.
It is extremely important that we practice gratitude on a daily bases. Being thankful for what we have: a lovely home, supportive family and friends, food to eat and the ability to be optimistic about the future. Three benefits of being optimistic include that optimism can reduce stress, as when you are optimistic you are not worried since you know the future will be better and that you will get there. The second benefit is that it makes you a happier person, so you are more nice to be around. Lastly it gives you a reason to achieve your goals, as knowing that you will achieve them, pushes you to get there and complete them.
Optimism is definitely needed at the moment. We need to have faith and believe that the near future is going to be great. That once we get pass the pandemic of coronavirus, that we will come out stronger on the other side. Having all of us from all over the world, unite as one to support one another.
