Keep Calm, Connect with Others, Coronavirus Drawing Day #6 – Coloured Pencil 🌸 artistbybeauty

Our existence in our beautiful world is important as we want to be acknowledged and accepted for who we are. Communication is valuable to humans and other forms of life. We each need not only emotional connection but also physical as well. When was the last time someone gave you a compliment or a hug?

I hope that you have at least received a compliment. I know that physical contact is not possible for some due to social distancing around coronavirus. If you live alone, you cannot exactly go out and catch up with friends. However, I hope that each one of us is communicating with other beings in some way. Whether it be on the phone, text messaging or online. There needs to be communication going on in your life, otherwise you can become lonely ❤

If you have a partner, children or both, please hug them and have meaningful conversations together. Now is a great time to review the different aspects of each relationship you have with those you live with. Look at what is in front of you and think about what truly matters in your life. Face the problems that you have been putting off for a while. It may be hard at first but nothing can change until you take action. Be strong and keep moving forward.

When we take responsibility and agree to face our problems, it allows for opportunity to think of different solutions. Once you have solutions in front of you, you can choose the ones that you see fit best and implement them into your life, to help resolve your problems. Spend quality time with those that you live with. Do fun indoor activities together such as watching a movie, playing board games, creating art or reading stories. You never know what new interests may spark within you 🙂

If you have a pet, talk to them. Give them lots of cuddles and attention. Watch a movie and snuggle on the couch together. Pets are members of the family too, who also deserve love and can give you a lot of love in return. My furbaby Lamington (a 10 year old Toy Poodle), loves to cuddle with me at night haha. During the day he is so cheeky and playful. He does little things here and there that make me laugh so much! I love his big beautiful eyes and sweet smile 😀

There is another being, who you must deeply connect with on a daily basis and that is yourself. Time to yourself is important, as it helps you keep your identity in existence. Many people can lose their identities over time by dedicating majority of day-to-day life to their work, study, family and other people who require their time. It is not planned and can just happen ❤

This is why is it very important that each person never forgets what they are truly passionate about. Simply by spending as little as 10 minutes a day on something you love doing can help you keep a sense of who you are as a person. We each have dreams and to be able to obtain those dreams, need to have goals. Write down your goals and break them up into time periods on a planner. Scheduling time to complete goals will keep you happy and you will be doing what you love every time 🙂

Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a coloured pencil drawing of a chibi girl, cuddling with her rabbit soft toy. She is so cute with the giant bow in her hair. I really am enjoying creating these drawings everyday. I am doing my #drawingdailytofightcoronavirus challenge each day until we beat coronavirus. Keep staying at home and keep yourself entertained by creating art, even if you feel that you are not great at it. Art is great for the mind and soul 😀

I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Be proud of who you are. Do what you love and love what you do. Enjoy what you are passionate about everyday. Have a joyful day!
