We all go through different feelings. The good ones: happiness, love and excitement make us feel incredible, valued and safe. However, there are also the bad ones: sadness, anger and confusion; leaving us distressed, upset and alone. On multiple occasions you would have felt each one of these feelings. Hopefully more of the good ones, than the bad. Due to the current events that we are experiencing, it is understandable if you are having many negative feelings than positive.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) all over the world has caused many lives to be taken, the loss of jobs on a weekly basis and a sense of worthlessness. It is sad that many of us no longer have a job and cannot find new work due to jobs being limited. There are many who are not hiring, since the public are told to at stay home and companies are not making money as people do not have money to spend. A lot of people tie their work to their identity, so without their job, they feel completely lost ❤

This crisis has caused us to look in the mirror and review our lives. Questioning if this is the life that we want, what truly matters in life and what we can do to change our future? We are not only judging ourselves but also how our country is handling the situation, which is frustrating as even those who are eligible for welfare still have to wait weeks to receive payment. Making them worried about how they will pay their bills and feed themselves.

Even within all of this chaos we need to take a step back and ask if we are ok? Ask yourself as well as those close to you. You may be surprised with who is not doing well. There should be no judgement or shame towards the person who is answering the question. Although it can be embarrassing to admit that you are not fine, it is important to as no one can help you if you do not speak to anyone other than yourself. We need to be loving, giving and support one another 🙂

Please continue to take care of your health and where you can, offer support to those around you. You do not have to be physically available. There are many ways to communicate with each other online: forums, apps and social media. It is great to be able to connect with each other in a positive way. Spread kindness and love to all. Thank you so much for reading! I really hope this helps you during these tough times. Have a nice day!
