What are you passionate about the most? Perhaps you enjoy being active – exercising, going on hikes or working out at the gym. Maybe you love to create art – painting, making sculptures or putting together creative makeup looks. Whatever it is, I am sure that you can agree that it makes you feel your best when you are spending time on what you love the most ❤
There are many videos, articles, images and much more regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). Being updated at every minute by news media companies to everyday people. It is a lot to take in when it is constantly everywhere, making it exhausting to consume all of this information. We still need to be updated with what is happening in our own countries and with the rest of world. However, it is best to limit the amount of time spent focusing on topics surrounding coronavirus.
Limiting time will help you less likely to be overwhelmed, as much of the information out there leans more to the negative side – harsh truths, the unknown, people suffering and much more to worry about. You want to keep your stress levels as low as possible, so that you can keep your mind healthy and function well on a daily basis while staying at home. All life is important. We need to stay healthy and safe, to take care of our life 🙂
I am doing my best to show the light through all of this darkness. We have to accept what coronavirus is and that it can potentially take your life, my life and those that we love if we fall ill to it. You just have to find a healthy balance with how you go about your day. Each one of us is different, we know our limits with what we can handle and the things we cannot. I feel that if we spend more time on doing what we love during each day, we will feel our best and be happy 😀
Even if you know from the top of your head, what the things that you enjoy doing the most are, grab a pen and piece of paper. Draw a line down the middle of the paper and title each section as ‘Indoor’ and ‘Outdoor’. Now, write down as many things that you love to do in each column (deciding whether they can be done indoors or outdoors). This is great as you will be able to determine what you can do during this difficult time.
Obviously, most of your indoor passions are things that you can do in your home. With the outdoors you may be limited, so you may want to save rock-climbing for after we get through this pandemic. If an outdoor passion is something like football and you have a backyard, you can still kick the ball around. Maybe it will not be exactly the same as being on a field but at least you can still be enjoying a little bit of your passion.
Since we are blessed with the wonderful internet, you can search for those who also share the same passions. Indoor or outdoor passions, there are plenty of entertaining videos and articles that you can view. So since you cannot go rock-climbing at the moment, what you can do is watch videos on rock-climbing, join conversations about the topic online or read articles on a blog. There are others to share the love for the same passions as you online. Get chatting! ❤
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you another sweet chibi girl coloured pencil drawing. This is my second drawing for my #drawingdailytofightcoronavirus challenge. I will draw a drawing each day until we beat the virus. This one is loving her book on romantic stories haha. Right now is the time to do the things you love. Have some well deserved self-love time. Take a nice long bath, read your favourite book, binge a TV series… just do whatever makes you happy and keeps you sane through this uncertain time.
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Put in the effort to do things for yourself. You deserve it! Learn to enjoy your own company and do not be afraid to try something new each day. Live your best life, even while you are limited to your home. You are awesome. Have a lively day!
