Stay Home, Be Kind, Social Distancing Coronavirus Drawing Day #1 – Coloured Pencil ๐ŸŒธ artistbybeauty

Stay home! We keep seeing and hearing this message everywhere. Yet, there are still more than a few people not following regulations that have been set for social distancing. Since they are not listening, it is preventing our way of life from getting better. Delaying the expected time for everything to go back to normal โค

Why is it hard for some to listen? Could it be that they do not understand what is happening? Maybe they feel there is not enough information on how this will work or that they just simply do not care. Yes, the ones who cannot quite wrap their brains around a situation do exist, as do the ones who have not a care in the world and rather do whatever they want, for their own selfish gain.

It is the harsh truth. It is not that these people are bad. They may just need more time (that we really cannot afford at the moment) to comprehend what is happening. Others have stubborn souls, who choose not to change; not to budge for anyone. What can we do to help these people understand the importance of practising good hygiene and social distancing? Options have been arising and suggestions have been made.

Here in Australia there has been requests for police to be able to impose more authority towards members of the public, due to many still refusing to listen. Some fines have been issued to businesses that are not complying with the social distancing regulations, as have some individuals who are breaking the same required rules. Do these people really not care about their own lives, as well as others? It is terrible that they are not listening.

Ok, enough of that rant… what we all need to focus on is staying at home, unless you need to go out to buy essentials or you are still working (here in Australia many still are until they get ordered otherwise). We are not lucky to be going through this pandemic but we are lucky that it is at a time where we have the internet. The internet allows us to stay up-to-date with the news and communicate with others ๐Ÿ™‚

So even if you live alone, you do not have to be entirely alone. It is wonderful that anyone can jump online and communicate with other people through forums, blogs and social media. The internet truly is a blessing. During this time, it is helpful for your own health and wellbeing to have fun doing what you are passionate about. Write, draw, paint, cook, bake… etc. It is also a great time to start a blog or YouTube channel if you have always wanted to.

Please use your time wisely and keep your mind busy to avoid negative feelings from taking over. Watch the news daily to keep updated with what is happening in the world. However, try your best to not get consumed into watching it all day long, as it will cause you a lot of pain and worry. Without realising it, you will feel like your world is crashing down and that there is nothing that you can do. We can get through this together and to do so,ย  you need to keep your mind healthy and strong. Have hope and faith in the strength of all of us combined. We are strong and will make it on the other side! ๐Ÿ˜€

Today on myย YouTube channel I am sharing with you an adorable chibi girl coloured pencil drawing. I love how cute she looks with her pigtails and dress. It is super sweet. She is participating in social distancing by staying home and messaging her friends. It is not easy for all of us to stay at home but we have to adapt for now. All of our lives depend on this! โค

I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Keep staying at home. Communicate with your family and friends online. Make it a challenge to learn something new each day. Maybe you can put time into learning a new language or how to sew. Do whatever it is that you love the most. Have a beautiful day!
