Be Safe, Care and Safety Coronavirus Awareness Drawing – Coloured Pencil 🌸 artistbybeauty

Coronavirus is spreading rapidly in different parts of the world. Although people are well aware of the precautions and safety measures to be taken in place, some are not following through. This careless behaviour is assisting COVID-19 to spread faster from person-to-person. It is a serious matter that should not be taken lightly ❤

If you live in Australia (or stay well-informed with the news), you would be aware of the lockdown that is to come into place, due to members of the public not following the rules regarding social distancing. Gatherings were not to exceed more than 100 people, yet some groups ignored this, giving opportunity for the coronavirus to spread amongst some of them. It is terrible that not everyone is taking this seriously. It is not a joke. People are dying from this virus.

As a community, part of a nation and as part of the world, each and every one of us needs to take responsibility for our own health. It is not just about you or me, it is about all of us being in this together. It is true that one person alone cannot change the world but what we do know is that an individual makes their own choices. You can either choose to follow safety rules or ignore them. You have great power to make your own decisions.

With great power, comes great responsibility. All I can do is urge you to practice good hygiene and social distancing, be kind to others and know that the sooner we all follow the necessary steps currently in place, the faster this will hopefully be over. Life is precious. Even in the hardest of times, we need to value our life and the lives of others. It is a gift to be thankful for, with each passing year. I am grateful for each day that I wake up to 🙂

Practising good hygiene is important for ultimate health. You being healthy helps make your local community healthier. Keep that immune system up! Washing hands is a common hygiene practice that comes to mind, yet not everyone washes their hands after going to the toilet or before eating. Please wash your hands often. Including when preparing food, when you have coughed or sneezed; or after touching anything in public (e.g. door handles, products in a store etc.). Use hand sanitiser if you cannot get to a sink to wash you hands.

Having a bath or shower daily is essential. Especially when you have been outside, using public transport or happen to come into close contact with someone. You just do not know what germs can be lingering on your body and clothes. So please wash your body and clothing items often. It may sound a bit crazy and excessive but it is better to be safe than sorry. Wipe down your phone screen if you go out for essentials. You will be surprised by how many germs your phone can collect.

To care for others, we must care for ourselves by making sure that we are as healthy as possible. Ensure that you eat healthy, eating plenty of fruits and vegetables. Take vitamins as required if you can purchase some. Vitamin C is great for boosting your immune system. Eating lots of ginger is great for you too. Getting 6 to 9 hours of sleep is good, as when you have enough sleep, it makes your immune system stronger. The amount of sleep needed will vary from person to person. Time your sleeping patterns and work out what amount of hours suits you best 😀

Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a colour pencil drawing of a cheerful chibi girl washing her hands. She is looking very proud which is great! We each need to ensure that we are washing our hands often, especially at the moment with coronavirus spreading. Please take good care of your health and encourage those around you to do the same.

I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Be safe, healthy and strong. Please practice good hygiene and social distancing as advised. Hopefully this will be over sooner than we think. Have a great day!
