Simple Sunrise and Ocean Pastel Painting – Acrylic 🌸 artistbybeauty

When was the last time you stopped to take in a moment? You know, not only to catch your breath but to appreciate a potential precious memory in time. A family members birthday where they looked at you with utter gratitude, that time when your partner came home and gave you your favourite treat or when your cat looked into your eyes; giving you cuddles to comfort you after a difficult day πŸ™‚

These are the moments that become treasures in time. Precious memories that truly remind us of what life is about. So, when did you last take in such a moment? We live in a fast pace environment which has been amplified since the use of the internet and technology. These two areas have brought so much joy, yet have also assisted with a lot of problems.

I say ‘assisted’ as at the end of the day we make the choices that we make. No-one is forcing you to make a bad decision. I am sure you have heard that both the internet and technology have connected us with other people in great ways like never before but there are the down-sides to it as well. The first one is that you may be connecting more online with people and neglecting the ones who are a part of your day-to-day real life. I am not saying that online relationships are not real. I have many friends who I have built meaningful relationships with online.

What I am saying is that we need to be careful not to neglect our partner, family or friends. As we tend to see no flaws in people online and know all of the flaws with the people in our real day-to-day life. I hope this is making sense. It is best to ensure you are not living in a fantasy world (says the anime obsessed girl haha). Just put your phone away at times and have real-life conversations. Enjoy a sunrise, walk or coffee with someone dear to you and make a connection with your eyes and heart ❀

I am sure that deep down inside you are understanding what I mean. People want to be seen in their best light, the best version of them-self – enhancing this ten times more where possible. It may seem a little sad but no-one wants to share an unflattering photo that they look horrible in, even if it was a moment where they were having a lot of fun with friends. A beautiful, true moment in life.

Plus many of us can be scared to share such ‘non-perfect’ moments in fear of being judged, having harsh words come from people online who we have never met before and never intend to. It is strange because a lot of this cruel nature to judge someone is often seen online but most of the same people who make these unnecessary comments would never say such things to others in real life. Simply because it is distasteful and would make them look horrible.

We all make judgements. Some obvious more than others. As human beings, we judge ourselves a lot but we need to do our best to make the choice not to judge someone harshly. Instead we need to look for the good in the other person, treat them kindly with respect, just the way we would like to be treated. It would actually be nice if all people could just be their kind true-selves online, no persona or trying to be like someone else πŸ˜€

Simply embracing ones true inner-beauty – the loving human being. Please do your best to make time for those you care about. The people you live with, family and friends. These relationships need to be a priority. Know that the ones in your day-to-day life who love you with all of your flaws and have seen you at your worst times, are the people who truly matter in your life. Never take them for granted! Especially your partner, the one who knows everything about you and still loves you incredibly deeply ❀

Today on myΒ YouTube channel I am sharing with you an acrylic painting of a nice sunny sunrise. It has been a while since I have shared an acrylic painting with you, so I thought I would share a beautiful sunrise. A nice awakening of more lovely pastel paintings to come. I love mixing colours to get pastel tones. It is my favourite colour palette!

I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Always remember to keep a kind heart and spread love. Be honest, committed and treasure loved ones deeply. Have a joyful day!
