What is it that you are most passionate about? Is it singing, maybe drawing or could it be playing basketball? We all have things that we enjoy doing in our spare time but can you narrow it down to your most favourite passion? 🙂
It can be hard to pick only one passion as your favourite. Let’s pick our top three instead. What are your top three passions? Hmm… mine are writing, drawing and painting. Those are my top three that I truly cannot live without. I honestly could write a super long list. I get passionate over so many things like reading, anime, cooking, baking… so many… but we won’t continue to go there.
Now, did you work out what your top three passions are in life? If you have one, that’s great. If you are still thinking what it is, that’s ok too. It is not easy for everyone to be able to know their top three passions on the spot. Especially when you are busy with work most days. It is common for people as they go from school into their adult-life to spend less time on their passions and more time on things such as work, study, family and relationships 😀
Balance is key to being able to make time for yourself and all the other areas of life (health, work, family, finances, and passions) that need your attention. Having to spend longer hours at work should not ever be an excuse to not be able to have some time to paint, play sports or game – whatever it is that you love to do. Passions need to be a priority as they are what bring happiness, do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
If you feel that you are super tired by the end of each working day you can try to eat healthier. Having healthy foods throughout the day can give you more energy as well as help to prolong it. A regular sleep routine each night can also assist with boosting energy, keeping you energised each day for longer. This extra energy will allow you to put it into your passions when you get home from work.
So now that you know how to better your energy levels, you need to write a schedule of when you will spend time on your passions. Use a wall planner, diary or bullet journal (whichever suits you best) to slot in times that you will spend doing the things that you love without hesitation. You are going to do this because you deserve to have fun and live your best life! ❤
Attending scheduled times for your passions will allow you to learn more about yourself each time. In doing so you will begin to understand what it is that you want out of life. It will cause you to review your current stage in life and think about where it is that you want to be. We need to always remember that when we are near the end of our life, we will think about the things that we wish we had done.
It is true, close to passing on from this world we will think that we were never too old or young to have: started playing an instrument, learnt how to dance, or learnt more than two languages. We will regret the things that we did not do. You need to always stay faithful to your dreams! Say yes to more opportunities, even if they do not work out, it is better to have tried than wonder what it would have been like. Be yourself and do what you want!
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a peaceful water colour painting of three lovely tropical fish who are calm and enjoying their day. Sometimes we need to take a moment to breathe, remembering who we are and what it is that we are most passionate about in life.
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Stop and take a moment to breathe right now. Know who you are and want it is that you love the most. Have a joyful day!
