What inspires one to create? Is it the music that they hear? Art they witness before them? Or surrounding circumstances happening in their life? There are many different areas of life that can inspire a person to create artwork ๐
Beauty is a common subject captured in art. I know that with my art I enjoy capturing the beauty of what I am drawing or painting. Who does not like to admire the beauty of animals, trees, people or any focus of an art piece? It is natural to want to capture an image in its best presence โค
Some other subjects that can be captivated in art are: Truth – such as a drawing of a tiger in a small cage at a zoo, Sadness – a parent mourning the loss of their child, Horror – a vampire biting a victim of the night, and Words – quotes that are well known. There are many different subjects that can be presented through art.
Now, what is it that inspires a person to create? It can be anything, from what the artist had for lunch that day to a song they heard on the radio. Much of my inspiration for my art comes from a place of fantasy, with a deep care for nature and our planet. I love to see animals, watch documentaries on nature and read fantasy books. Nature and fantasy are my biggest areas for gathering inspiration for my artwork ๐
Inspiration is also channelled when I get feedback from people. So from yourself here on my blog, and on my social media. It is very fulfilling when someone advises me that my art makes them happy or inspires them to get creative. I am thankful to be able to do this. It feels incredible and melts my heart every time โค
Motivation is a requirement needed to keep creating art. I enjoy scheduling my tasks each week and ticking them off as I go – this is very satisfying! It is motivating as you can see progress straight away and makes you feel good as you are closer to achieving your goals with each tasks getting ticked off.
Seeing other people on social media creating art is another way I stay motivated. It is great to admire the art of others. I find this super motivating! I enjoy supporting other artist and being able to see their achievements with art. It is important to be happy for others success as you can achieve great things too, and it will bring more positive opportunities into your life.
Today on myย YouTube channel I am sharing with you a water colour painting of a cat mushroom forrest. Basically a forrest filled with giant mushrooms that cats live within. It is a magical place that heals all who enter it. I love forrests and have forever found them to be magical, mysterious parts of nature.
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Spread love and kindness to those who are passionate about the same things that you are. See how much that inspires you to do more. Keep going for your goals and dreams. Have a great day!
