Stories of fantasy and adventure can open ones mind to many possibilities. Thinking about real life itself, creating their own fantasy world or inspiring them to travel the world. There are many more possibilities. Both of these genres inspire greatness from within us ❤
Mermaids, dragons, fairies, elves and wizards all come to mind when I think about fantasy. Explorers, archaeologist and travellers are who I think of when it comes to adventure. Of course each of the ones noted for fantasy could be seen as adventure too. As adventure leads you on a journey and fantasy can easily fit along into that.
There is also the dark side of both genres. Fantasy can include vampires, witches and creatures of the night. I love this side of fantasy too. I am into happy fantasy stories with great adventure but I do enjoy an added horror element to it as well. Tragedy is needed in a story to bring you closer to the characters and it is good for unexpected twists to make the journey more worth it 😀
A dark side to adventure could be someone getting injured from falling off a cliff, running from a wild animal or discovering a not so friendly – unknown village of people in a jungle. This can create fear and sadness, so that you feel worried about the characters and want them to get to a safe place. Again, it is all to keep viewers interested and wanting more from the story.
Lately I have been enjoying drawing and painting mushrooms. There is something magical and unusual about them. The way that they sprout, grow, curve and look. It is just like with coral reefs that they create their own little world wherever they grow 🙂
They are stunning! I love the different shapes, sizes and patterns that they appear in. I am a huge fan of eating mushrooms too. I enjoy eating them at least twice a week. Mushrooms contain protein, fibre, vitamin B and antioxidants, that can help us to have a healthy immune system. Mushrooms are so good for you!
It is funny because when I was a child I did not like mushrooms at all. I would refuse to eat them but when I was about 19 years old I started to like them. It is a strange thing how a food you disliked a lot as a kid is now one of your favourite foods to eat. I honestly cannot live without mushrooms now lol ❤
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a water colour painting of two lovely blue birds flying around, enjoying the mushrooms. The mushrooms are happy to be growing on the grass and have the birds be playful around them.
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for reading and watching! Enjoy mushrooms. They are healthy and super good for you. I am very glad I grew to love them. Have a happy day!
