Cheeky Monkey with Banana Painting – Watercolours 🌸 artistbybeauty

Monkeys are similar to humans in many ways. Just like people they each have their own unique fingerprints, like to socialise and are intelligent. Monkeys are very playful and can be cheeky at times, playing tricks on each other for fun 😀

I first saw monkeys in real life in a monkey forrest in Bali. I had seen monkeys before in zoos but it was nothing compared to seeing monkeys freely going about their day in nature. It was nice seeing the monkeys playing with one another and eating their food.

The cutest thing happened when a baby monkey was so curious about my dress that they grabbed the end of it with their little hands and felt the fabric through their tiny fingers. My heart skipped a beat as I made eye contact with them and fell in love instantly ❤

It was such a sweet moment until the babies mother told the baby monkey off and to get away from me. She was simply being protective of her baby but I wished the moment had lasted for longer. I shared the moment as I recorded it (on my Instagram – click here to see the video).

I am looking forward for when I next travel to Bali. I am wanting to near the end of this year. I really love it there! The nature and animals are very beautiful. It is a lovely place that I recommend you add to your places to travel list 🙂

Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a watercolour painting of an adorable cheeky monkey holding onto a banana. I find bananas to be super delicious. They are one of favourite fruits. Banana smoothies are my go to for breakfast and as a tasty treat. I also love watermelon and mango.
