It is funny when you set out to do one thing and it leads to something else. Something that you did not plan at all. At times it can be good to go with the flow and let your mind be at ease. Trust in the universe that it will work out in the end no matter what 😀
This painting was originally meant to be a wolf. I grabbed my watercolour palette, paint brushes and paper, and set up to paint a wolf. I started to paint the outline, then added bits of colour here and there. Then before I knew it, I had a cheerful hybrid Pikachu-Gremlin happily smiling at me lol!
To be honest when I saw this mythical creature beginning to form, I did question if I should continue? It was looking odd. Then I remembered that I like weird things and that I wanted to see what the result would turn out like once I completed this painting 🙂
I am super happy that I finished it! Yes, this animal does look weird but I love it. I enjoy painting fantasy and this is most definitely a fantasy creature. A fox that looks like a Pikachu and Gremlin were merged together as part of an experiment. At least it looks happy on the grass. Haha they are super cheerful ❤
I have now hit the pan with most of my watercolours in the palette. I will need to replace it in a months time. So I shall go back to sharing acrylic paintings with you soon and some oil paintings too. As I mentioned earlier this month, I will be opening an art store soon. Just deciding on where I will be opening it. It will be nice to have my art go to loving homes and make people feel happy.
