Cats wonder around freely. Going into the neighbours property, climbing nearby trees and letting strangers pat them as they pass by on the footpath. They are independent, cheeky and smart. Cats find the funniest places to sleep 🙂
Growing up in a small city in New Zealand we always had cats. The most that we had at once would have been six, which is a lot now that I think about it lol. They made for great company as they were always excited to see me after school and would want to play. I loved brushing their hair and at times pretending I was a cat too.
Haha I even pretended that I was Catwoman (I think I called myself Catgirl since I was a teen at the time and loved Batman movies so much!). Since I was a toddler I always felt like I could speak “cat language”, that they understood me and I understood them. I was such a weird kid 😀
Well, I am sure that we all love cats for similar reasons. They are cute, cuddly, playful and love our attention. Cats can make you laugh too – such as when they fall over, chase their tails or jump when they get a fright (they can jump super high at times, it is amazing lol). I like watching cat videos online, they make me laugh a lot.
It is funny the places that you can find them sleeping in. Some may be in a shoe box, on a bookshelf, in a cupboard or in a laundry basket. Cosy and small spaces seem to be the winning place for them to rest. It just makes my heart melt when I see a cat happily sleeping. I wonder what they dream of? ❤

Hello Capili (or should I call you CatGirl?) My mother-in-law owns a few cats and all of them are unique little characters. I went out with my MLW one day and when we returned to her house we found one cat sleeping….balanced on a washing line! We’re not sure how he managed to do it but we know he climbed the wooden pole no problem but how he perched on the wire I have no idea. (But I will say it had been raining and the ground was still damp so we know why he did it)
