Bird watching is one of my favourite outdoor activities to do. I enjoy noticing the little things when I go for a walk around the park. From the leaves on a tree to the birds grouping around people for food 🙂

There is nothing like hearing birds sing. Yes, some are more noisier than others and there are annoying sounds that some birds can make. The lovely sounds are what I am talking about. The sweet tweets a bird makes and their beautiful singing.

When I go to the park during my lunch hour on work days I love to sit on a park bench and observe the birds. They can be funny to watch, especially when they are racing each other for food. It is cute seeing them compete 😀

There are two main types of birds that I regularly see at the park – the ibis and pigeons. Ibis are know as Bin Chickens even though they look nothing like chickens lol. They just happen to like hanging around rubbish bins and going through them to find food.

Ibis are beautiful black and white feathered birds, with long legs and a long curved beak. They make noises like a duck (not a chicken haha). I find pigeons lovely to listen to. They are cheeky too and always fly a bit too close to my head when I am sitting in the park ❤

Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a colour pencil drawing of two birds kissing. They are in love, showing beautiful affection for one another. Wow it is almost February, that means it will be Valentines Day before we know it ❤

Also just letting you know that my internet has been down for the past few days, so I haven’t been able to reply to comments yet. Sorry for this.
