Lipstick is one of my favourite makeup items to change up a look. I love how different lip colours can give different impressions. A nude colour can be subtle and sweet, red – bold yet seductive, pink – flirty and fun ❤
Of course there are many lip shades for every colour that exists and everyone will have their own perspective on what a certain colour means for them. Blue may be sad for some and hopeful for others. Yellow – happy for some and silly for others. You get the picture, we each have our own tastes 🙂
I am super excited to finally be able to share this lip swatch video showing Australis Cosmetics beautiful GRLBOSS LIP CREAM Volume 1: Self Expression Set. I filmed this over a week ago and have successfully made some time to edit it (including the photos).
This lip cream set retails for $79.00 aud (I was lucky to get it on sale for half price – $39.00), which is an affordable price for ten of their favourite shades from the 50 that are available. Especially since they sell for $14.95 individually. I absolutely recommend this set. It is worth it!
The set contains 10 wonderful shades: Visionary, Sassy, Inspire, Admire, Humble, Countless, Slay, Divine, Power and Fierce. I find that the lip creams easily glide on smoothly, are moisturising and long-lasting. They are even great without wearing lip liner 😀
Visionary is slightly burgundy. A beautiful rich red who likes to go to formal events and keep up with her social life. She will step out of her comfort zone in order to grow.
Power as the name says it, is powerful and confident. An orangey-red shade. Nothing can stop her from achieving her goals.
Inspire a lovely nude that is kind, gentle and enjoys lifting up the spirit of others. Helping others motivates her to be a better person each day.
Admire a warm burnt-orange colour that is observant and focused on learning from those she looks up to. Learning from those on a similar path to her own, will help her get to where she wants to go 🙂
Humble a pretty red, is grateful for all the people she comes into contact with. She understands that even the ones who are challenging help her grow. Learning lessons along the way and helping others brings her joy.
Countless a purpley-pink shade understands that you rarely get things right the first time. So she tries and tries again until she finally achieves her goals. Never giving up is key! ❤
Slay a natural pink colour knows how to impress others in a helpful way. She brings out the happiness in people which allows her to be the best version of herself. She is positive and preaches love.
Divine a bright pink shade is delightful to be around. She is always smiling and working hard on her dreams. Love and kindness give her infinite energy.
Sassy a lovely purple shade is cheeky, funny and has endless energy. Nothing can hold her down. She brings smiles and laughter to all those around her.
Fierce a bright red, has her eyes on the prize at all times and will not let anything get in her way. She may seem intimidating at first but she really has a gentle kind-hearted soul and is just focused on her goals. You’ll learn this once you get to know her.
Today on my YouTube channel I am sharing with you a lipstick swatch video. I had a lot of fun trying each of these lip creams out. I have to admit though, my lips were a little sore afterwards from wiping each one of the ten shades off with a makeup wipe lol. All worth it though haha ❤
